Wondering where I go to get it allowed.

thanks for any help. (please don't flame me)

Are you using the wordpress.com blog?

You might need to cloak them using a url shortener like bitly or something first.

Or get the self hosted version of wordpress so you can do what you want.

Wordpress dot com is kind of iffy on commercial things. You may or may not be able to get by with a url shortener, kind of depends on how you word things and who is checking that day. If you really wnat to keep your site on wp dot com, that is a pretty good solution.

If you want a wp blog on your own site that you won, Hostgator is pretty friendly to wp blogs. they have fantastico for installing wordpress and that seems to work pretty well for me and a bunch of other people.

If you already have hosting, adding a wordpress site is easy peasy, especially with Cpanel.

Spend some time deciding on an SEO friendly domain name and you're good to go.

I have a vacation blog, covering cruises, vacation spots, etc, and trust me it is best to get your own domain and put up Wordpress CMS on it. This gives you the ability to do 'WHAT EVER YOU WANT' and put up ANY offer you choose.

Travel blos, vacation blogs, etc do very well if put together good.

Don't spend allot of time working for someone else's domain unless they allow total monetization, and good luck finding that!

That's called "being a free employee".

I love all these millions of people wasting their time on Facebook. All free f*cking slaves. I always try to get people to create their own domains.

As far as hosting goes. Go with a Cloud Host of some sort. We like SiteCloud.

I think their TOS will not allow affiliates..

Please, do NOT try to "monetize" your wordpress.COM blog - you may lose it in a second!

No, their TOS doesn't allow affiliate links.

Get a backup of your content and move it quickly to your own hosting.

Free wordpress blog doesn't allow affiliate links from what I hear, I would use blogger insted. Of course if you can just buy a domain and hosting, you'll be free to do whatever you'd like.

Hostgator has some great hosting plans. Get a domain, some hosting and using Fantastico, just install Wordpress on your new hosting account and transfer the posts to your new blog. Then you can do what you want to do with your blog as long as it does not violate hosting TOS.

If you're serious, you need a self hosted Wordpress blog. Go with Istvan's suggesting ASAP.

Istvan and Amy are correct - don't even go there. They've been known to pull the plug in a heartbeat and you could end up losing all your hard work with no recourse.

You'll be safer if you set up a self-hosted WordPress blog. This is a good solution because then you can use the Import function (in the Tools menu) to transfer all your posts in from your existing blog.

Self-hosted WordPress is pretty versatile. In addition to importing your wordpress.com posts, it can also import posts from RSS feeds, Blogger, LiveJournal, Movable Type and TypePad.

    Good luck with it.

Cheers from warm and smiling Thailand,
