Advise to Newbies from a Newbie

hi guys i am not sure if this has been covered before here. but i recently found an invaluable thread in the CPA forum from KevScarb. I thought it might be useful because it really helped me out. so i thought i would share with my fellow newbies, Just so hopefully this advice is helpful to you guys as well.

The advice that i took away from Kev's thread which was very useful and long thread was a lot of people who want to get into Internet marketing are wanting to get in to make money online, which is exactly why i got into Internet marketing, but a lot of newbies including myself are going about learning in the wrong way, which i certainly was, i was buying the latest Guru secrets courses and ebooks on making money online, and coming onto this forum to find out the quickest latest secret way to make money online. am sure a lot of other newbies have fallen into this endless cycle of information hunger.

what Kevscarb reccomended and has been best advice i have seen on the boards so far was that before you go into doing any kind of IM whether it be article marketing, product creation, affiliate marketing etc....
Its best that you actually teach yourself the basics of Marketing, because that is the Key to everything, not the latest widget, Ebook or latest guru launch.

what i did was buy myself from amazon a great marketing book called

Ca$hvertising from Drew Eric Whitman - which teaches you about 8 life forces that make humans biologically hardwired for 8 desires such as survival, sexual relationship etc... its a great read

anyway thats one book i found very useful i bet there are other books that fellow warriors can advice you guys

the motto of this long post is if you dont know how to market no matter what else you try to learn gurus, ebook, etcc. you wont do that well in Internet Marketing. Once you successfully know how to market your confidence will be high and only then should you look towards what best suits your skills in this crazy IM world.

To me anyway this advice from KevScarb was very helpful and it really has helped me focus more and now i have set myself a clear route to where i want to go with my IM business.
