Value first, profit later !

Here I'm sharing what I learnt from a millionaire few months ago.
He said, when selling, think about giving value first.
From good value, our prospects will see how serious we are in helping them,
with our products.

Let say, we are promoting Weigh Loss ebook.
Instead of just dumping your affiliate link acrross all Health Forums, why not, contribute first.

Simple posts make a difference.
Twice a week, posting about simple change in menu to start losing weight, will give you a lot of advantage from your competitors. - well of course, you know you can get the info from article directory like ezinearticles.com right?

Here the flow, what actually happen when people buying from you.

Read/Listen/Watch => Trust build up => Making Decision => Purchase

Simple change, but maximum impact;

    Eben Pagan said it best when he said give $100 to your prospect and ask for $10 in return.

          @Steve Wells

          I hear you.....however, when I offer you a quality and value based product/service that you have expressed that you want in some way or fashion, then that's a good trade.

          As long as my intent is not to harm or cheat you, this is a good thing. I'm seeking to make money....Think about it, business wise,.....it's been shown that there is a market for people who want to make money offline. I say to myself, I want to get money from this market, but I need to befriend them first and offer a "carrot" first, so to speak.

          I wouldn't call this trickery, as long as you offer me quality and value, all is good.

          So, giving me freebies first in order to get something later (morally sound), there's no problem, as long as you give me quality and value...it's a good trade.

      haha,, just joking.. if you are set on giving value then you are a winner already~

      And he also said "move the free line" and give your customers a lot of valued stuff for free because if you didn't do this, someone else will do.

    Well, what your saying sound so close to the true, BUT the problem is motivation. People are still giving to get, instead of just giving. It's just tricky helping and giving.

    The motivation is to get. To do something, in hopes of getting something in return.

    What your saying sounds like a nice platitude, and like a lofty do goody good idea. But it's not purely motivated by a willing and genuine heart to help others.

    That's the problem with people in general I guess. They can't seem to help but think of themselves. And what they can do to get something from someone else. Even if it means being tricky, and making it look like they are helping because they really want to help, when in fact they are helping, hoping and expecting something in return.

      I'm stop doing my job, because of your interesting comment.
      I need to reply this ASAP, as it's important as I don't want newbie to get me wrong !

      First, understand this, "doing business is not doing charity"
      Yes, in business, profit is your motivation.

      So, what I need to do first, is setting up the Goal.
      You can clarify back your Goal by answering this question.

      "How my product can help my customer?"
      Note that, I'm highlight the word product !

      Product is your source of profit.
      Without product, there's no business.

      So, now you have the product.
      Then, find someone that really have a problem, that your product can solve.

      In first example, Weight Loss.
      Your product is a weight loss program.
      Find someone that want to loss their weight.
      Consult them, and recommend them to try your product.

      Of course before they purchase, they will make a decision to buy or not.
      Before they make decision, you show them, by sharing with them, anything that will make them trust you.

      err .... is my explanation about this okay?

      At first, when I heard about this, I also have doubt. But, when I put into action, I see this thing clearly and I'm happy to share this with WF, as I started to receive a lot of good result from applying this to my business.

      Anything else? Just let me know. Next time, I try to explain this in little words

      Regards;
      Raja Kamil

    Hi Raja,

    I'd give that a two-thumbs up! It is in keeping in mind 100% customer satisfaction that our businesses will thrive and grow. Customers are the lifeblood of this business, without them, everything else is but a futile exercise.

    Hi Raja!

    You have hit the nail well and truly on the head right there!

    It is an absolute minimum requirement to give quality away first before asking for anything.

    Knowing how to market first before selling is a vital skill to develop.

    Selling becomes a lot easier when you do this and it feels a lot more like a victory when you build your business this way.

    Well done and keep em coming my friend!

    It took me about 2 years to find out that I need to give things away in order to get big returns. That is what I mostly do today and sales are amazing.

    Hi Raja!

    I totally agree with what you said. The thing that you are saying is what separates successful people from the other that fail. However, numbers are still important. Having a sense of balance in both aspects are the keys to success. Don't be too emotional and think logically.
