Online Accounts "Housekeeping"...do you?
Every year in January, I go through alllll of my Paypal settings to make sure everything is current and accurate. Over the past year, I've moved, gotten a new phone number, cellphone number, had my email hijacked and had to change that, etc., so I always go through the settings, changing things where needed if it hasn't already been done.
One interesting thing I found this time in my profile under the "account information" column, all the way at the bottom, entitled "Merchant Fees". Did you know that if you make over $3000 a month via Paypal you can apply to lower your Paypal fees? All you have to do is apply!
After I got done in Paypal, I had to go over to Amazon because I had forgotten to change my address there. That started a chain of events...I had to go from place to place, making sure all the bank account, email, address, phone number, etc. info was correct. What a pain, but at least now everything is up to date!
Do you do this too? I think that at least doing your Paypal "housekeeping" once a year is a great idea.
