I might be wrong, but I perceive that many internet marketers don't have a business mindset. Maybe this is the cause of the low rate of success among internet marketers.
Some people might just be looking for a quick way to make some extra bucks. They don't need to have a business mindset. However, those who want to build a steady income online should start thinking in business terms.
You should see yourself as a entrepreneur that wants to start-up his/her small online business.
This means that, first of all, you need knowledge. There is no business where you will succeed if you don't know how it works. You will not open,let's say, a bakery if you have no idea about making bread, right?. Same thing about internet marketing. Don't think you are going to make money if you first don't learn (deeply) how internet marketing works.
A successful entrepreneur, besides knowing the technical aspects of his business, thinks and acts as a business owner.
