I would now like to coin the term "Sub-Niche" markets. Taking advantage of other business that have a loyal following and creating a niche for their followers. Some other examples would be
-Determining the best Starbucks Coffee -How to write a great post on the Warrior Forum -Finding What You Want on Google This is a pretty good secret I am passing along here let's see if some Warrior's can take advantage. This came about as a result of a post by Mr. George Wright a fellow Warrior Member. http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...here-they.html Any other "Sub-Niches" anyone else can think of. I know there is a lot out there. |

I hate to rain on your parade...
The term sub-niche has been around forever... I see your point and it may be a good one, but coining the term sub-niche isn't possible because it has been "coined" already Peace Jay |

I am not so arrogant to claim I actually made up the phrase "sub-niches", but I am claiming coining rights none the less.
The land has always been there I am just putting my flag on it which makes it mine. |

I've got dibs on "stud".
Seriously though, it's a great idea regardless of who is coining what. |

Chris,
You right on time. You will be forever known as the person who coined the term "Internet Marketing." Any unique examples or original idea (ebooks, topics, etc) you can shed on us for some credibility otherwise someone may take down your flag and put up their own. Just FYI |

You guys are such fools.
I've been harvesting gold from "ni" markets FOREVER... That's even SMALLER than a sub-niche. It's PRE-Niche. It's a "ni". Brian <- KING of Ni Marketing P. S. The OP may fly a freaky flag but the message on it is important! |

I think I a might have shadowed the purpose of this post with my outrageous claims.
It was simply to serve as an example of using creative ideas to tap in and/or even create new and profitable niche markets. It was meant to show others that the flow of new and untouched material is available to all with a little digging and thought. It was also meant for us to share ideas. I know I started it but, if we can do more sharing and less claiming it would be great. I might even denounce my claim to the phrase"sub-niche" marketing. Doubt it though. ITS MINE!

Results 1 - 10 of about 22,700 for sub-niche
Results 1 - 10 of about 29,400 for subniche Results 1 - 10 of about 6,350,000 for sub niche The first two terms are not 'extremely' saturated, so I would not discourage you in whatever it is you want to do... HOWEVER: saying 'it's mine' or 'coining' a phrase that has already been around for many years, and 'coined' by tens of thousands of people waaaaay before you, is quite tacky... c'mon... get with the program... - Jared |

I never meant it to be an argument I meant it to be a brainstorm for sub-niche markets so that others could share some good ideas to generate profitable articles through undiscovered and created sub-niches.
It seems to have gotten way off topic. I attempted to bring it 180 degrees, but I think we ahve only come 45 thus far. Hopefully I will get help from some fellow Warriors and brig us the other 135 degrees we need to accomplish the intended purpose of this post. |

sub-niche - Google Search The term itself, in reference to markets, predates the commercial Internet, which began in the early 90's. It's probable that it goes much further back as a term in biology and ecology, where the word 'niche' has specific and important meaning. Paul | |

Hi Cindy,
I spent last week working while playing the boxed-set of Michael Palin's 'around the world' DVDs as background sounds/images for the zillionth time...totally addicted, and so is my son I thought I was one of the world's chief Python recitalists but my son now wins bets by correcting me on my wording. What have I done? ![]()

Hi Paul,
SPLORF! ![]() OK. You got me. What the hell is that thing? I don't recognise it as a Python monster, so I imagine it's from some bizarre space program? (I might lose cred with that statement). Sadly, the only space-type obsession I had was 2000AD - 'Splundig Ver Thrigg'. You got me the other day with 'nuke 'em 'till they glow' - I knew that expression from a rather rude, crude, lewd and politically-incorrect English rock-humour band I used to follow who's name it would be advisable for me not to reveal. But after investigation, I found it was from some very popular cult magazine thingy and my lot had 'borrowed' it. So put me out of (into?) my misery please. I like the native American thingy under the monitor too. I forget the name but I used to have a similar one which my uncle got me from his base in Chile - one of those things you put your head through and wear (duh). Edit - it's not a furry version of the flying spaghetti monster is it? It doesn't have any meatballs...:-) |

Roger,
[sigh] That is the fuzzy, stuffed version of a Great Old One. Specifically, Cthulhu. And no, it has no Pastafarian tendencies. Cthulhu eats the heads off his cultists. (See userfriendly.org for details.) The item of apparel you're describing is likely one referred to as a serape. Paul |

Hi Paul,
Thanks for the enlightenment and hopefully I can reciprocate by finding a furry toy, linked to a fictional world, supported by mountains of age-old art and books that you have never heard of, and continue the trend of photographing it in front of a monitor with warrior forum in the background. But I doubt that one exists that you don't already know of. Dang. ![]() PS - Quote:

While this post is not serving its intended purpose it the post did serve to accomplish one thing.
We have had an incredible flood of coinage going on. By the end of it I think every subcategory of niche will be owned by one Warrior or the next. Look everyone who is participating, the title was just to drive interest to the post. I in no way actually believe that I coined the word sub-niche although I did write the wikipedia article on the topic
