Joomla vs Wordpress

Anyone got any good advice about which is the best platform for Affiliate Marketing.

I find Joomla very easy with a tool for just about anything I can think of, but Wordpress seems to be the weapon of choice for SEO.

Am I also right in thinking that the best squeeze page is a standalone one with Joomla or WP installed in subfolder?

Getting a squeeze page into either of these seems a bit messy although I did see a Joomla template that seemed aimed at this.

    In my experience it's easier to set a squeeze page in Joomla than in Wordpress - which although lots of people use it as a CMS platform, is first and foremost a blog. Plus, with Joomla, you don't get people leaving spam comments on your squeeze page or article. If you use Joomla, you can install it in the main directory without needing a separate HTML squeeze page.

      I've never used Joomla, but I love Wordpress. Everything is so easy to use, and the sites seem to rank fast in the SERPs.

    I prefer joomla, but for a blog wordpress is good.. For news sites joomla is the best.
