hey guys as the thread title goes...

How do I update my facebook profile wall posts to my fan page same time?!

its annoying copying and pasting my posting twice to update both sets of news feeds, surely there is an easier way?

    No this isn't possible. Facebook keeps your profile and page separate. Looks like you'll have to keep copy and pasting!

      because its for the same person . For example me, so if I did a quick 'tweet' of what am upto..or a video...or saw, it can take the process longer if I then must login to my profile copy and re-paste to my fan page...

      really for personal branding in my case and show activity...

          UPDATE: Problem Solved & Solution Found!

          ok if anyone coming across this thread has the same issue or in the same boat I was...then after researching for hours I finally found a Facebook App which is called

          'Smart Tweets for Pages" works a charm guys and its awesome!

            This is weird!

            I came to the WF looking for help to try to find out how to SEPARATE my newly created fan page from my personal facebook.....because it AUTOMATICALLY posted the very first "Welcome" post from my fan page to my personal facebook wall...

            I deleted it, and am searching feverishly where it is possible to change a setting somewhere...

            When I signed up for the fan page, I was asked if I already had a facebook account, and I answered "yes" so need to find the settings to unconnected them...

    By not publishing twice you are missing out on valuable marketing. Here's what I do and recommend you do.

    1) Publish to your business fanpage first.
    2) Swap to use facebook as your personal profile
    3) go to your post on your fanpage and share it from there

    This way it is quickly copied to your personal wall but most importantly it will include a link back to your fanpage so its a way of crossing over from your personal profile and leading traffic to your fanpage.

      Exactly as Internet_Corporation puts it. Of course, you'll have to be fan of your fan page for this to work...but I'm guessing that you know!

        I use Hootsuite (the free version) I'm not an affiliate. You can upload multiple social sites, ie. Facebook personal and Fan Page. Then once you have created your post, all you have to do is check the profile(s) that you want to send it too. Big time saver!

            Maybe I misunderstood his post. You need a personal Facebook profile 1st before you create your Fan Pages (if you're following FB Tos). Then you can upload your personal profile and Fan Pages or just your Fan Pages to Hootsuite and select the page that you want to send your content to.

              If hootsuite allow you to post to both then I guess that covers it, sorry but I didn't know it could do both...

    Well, you can try this. But I don't know
    if this works or not.

    Enable Twitter For Facebook, and add it
    to your FB page and profile.

    Send a tweet, and MAYBE your wall should be
    updated along with wall.
