Do search engines not like some types of link cloaking?
The obvious example is a link shortener so if I have a page with this link on it:
http://wwww.bit.ly/productiwantyoutobuy
I'm assuming the search engines have no issue with that. But what about:
http://www.mydomain.com/go/productiwantyoutobuy
or even
http://www.mydomain.com/productiwantyoutobuy
that both redirect to affiliate pages.
Does that confuse spiders that are expecting to remain within the site or something instead of being redirected off of it? Is there anything negative about cloaking a link in that manner?
