There is really no reason why you should have to choose because both are powerful and both can be used. But if I had to choose it would obviously be Facebook. Just for the simple fact that IT IS the largest source of traffic on the internet and if you can utilize and harness it's power you can earn more money and get more traffic than you can imagine.

  Facebook HAS the largest volume of traffic MIGHT be accurate. IT IS the largest source of traffic is a fact I have never seen documented anywhere. As far as I have seen it is currently a distant number two. Here is one of my references, where are yours?

Personally, I'm kinda over Twitter right now.

Sure you can link them both together but if you've been on Twitter as of late, it's just a spam fest.

Facebook isn't just another traffic source either. But make sure you use a fan page for all of your business needs. With 1/3 of the interent population participating on FB, it's kind of hard to not play a part in it.

Ultimately, I'd say to go with FB. At least you can actually place ads on it, but some say that might be a possibility for Twitter soon.

  I just try this question if you can answer.
  
  I try byethost free webhosting I already install the plugin all in one seo and others too.
  
  I try to put the url of my website w/c is the byethost and then when I put it on the status page of my facebook, no image or description found.
  
  Unlike blogger everytime you post a url link on facebook, it will show some images and description.
  
  Does anyone is expert about this?
  
  Can you give me an advice? Or have you tried already byethost?
  
  I know this is free... Maybe because its free it won'l allow on facebook.

Why ask? Better try using the two and compare the result. Both site are good when it comes to online business, they both provide great traffic of website.

you need to use both. They are both different mediums of building a relationship. Facebook gives you more opportunity - longer text, fan pages, photos and walls but twitter is great for short bursts, retweets and hashtag traffic

  Use Facebook, Twitter and as many of the other hundreds of social sites out there.
  
  You can't ignore Facebook, there are just too many people on there to ignore and the possibilities are limitless.
  
  Twitter, if used properly can work well for you but as someone else just said, it is a bit of a Spam Fest..

Use both combined, a lot are of the opinion though that twitter is starting to fill up with a lot of spam. I still use twiter and it brings me back traffic, but I found that I had to change a few tactics by concentrating on a good headline this bumped my traffic up by about 30% since I started doing this, so twitter is still a good source.

Facebook on the other hand can be so targeted where you can enter groups. Groups in facebook are like targeted forums, then there's the option of setting up your own fanpage, you've also got the option of advertising there too, with facebook you can do a lot more.... but I wouldn't rule out twitter.

Both of them are good, but personally, Twitter is the best way to get traffic. Twitter is the powerful traffic source for Internet Marketing. In Twitter, we can increase our followers easily.

  why don't you go with both. Facebook has bigger market share than Twitter so that means more traffic from facebook but you should not leave twitter as well

I use both together.These two are very strong tool to gather traffic.You can use them by linked together and can find a very effective result for your site.There is no restriction to select anyone.Then why are you waiting for others opinion??Just go forward by using them both.

  What I’ve learned through my years of Internet Marketing is that there really isn’t one way that is the “best,” they both have their own strengths and it depends on how you use them.
  
  They are both Social Marketing, which means that they are only useful if you have a lot of followers or friends.
  
  As someone said previously, it would be a good idea to use both since they can be linked to each other.
