Do you think this is a good idea for a WSO, Product, or whatever?

So basically whilst I was bored I was just thinking about how all the products are hugely hyped up and you never have a clue what you are getting any more. Even though they offer refunds, they still never really tell you what you were getting. Now I guess my idea has been brought up before and I guess it is trust relatided but why not allow the customer to have the product free, or at least free trial and then considering on how much the person makes using your system, maybe 10% goes back to the person selling the product? Probably would not work due to no trust any more, but nice idea anyway...

    I like the concept. But yeh like you say, it relies on trust. Some people would pay up, but others might not.

    Personally, I like the model of giving away a free version and having a paid version with more features...

    I have tried a few of these "hyped" money back guarantee products though, and generally, they do honour the guarantee without too much fuss if they turn out not to be much good.

    I totally get why people don't want to risk the investment though. But I guess that's to the benefit of those who will take a chance

    i don't think this concept is new

    it's like when people develop software or wordpress plugins and take 25% of the ad displays on the program's site or something

    and then a bit different there are services like etsy.com that let you list for free, and they only make a cut when you actually sell something.

    this can be done easily with coding.
