We meet again

Here is my advice to you and is what I do when rolling out a review site, conduit site as they now seem to be called after CR's report. Which I bought and liked

- Write maybe 3 or 4 articles that point to the home page and mass submit them after they have been approved at EZA
- Social bookmark to all the sites on socialmarker.com for the main page
- Write 1 article for each product that I have and mass submit them after EZA approval
- One squidoo or hub that points to the main page
- Directory submissions to around 1000 directories

Here is the longer part...

I set up an excel spreadsheet which lists each product on it and 3 keywords relating to each product. Usually the product name, product name review, and buy product name. The actual terms will depend on your keyword research. Then I outsource blog comments. I will pay someone to make 1 comment per day for each product on each keyword. I do this for about 1 month. And it isnt expensive, you can have this done for a few dollars a day (depending on the amount of products you have). The blogs should be in similar niches and have content related to my product. You can use Google blog search to find them.

I also set up a resources page that will allow links added from other webmasters. Once I see my link on their site or if they contact me ill add their link. I will do this with around 50 sites over the space of a couple of months. You can outsource this. The idea is to have reciprocal links.

Then I do all the same things but scale it back and at that stage its self sustaining.

Really though the best advice I can give you is think outside of Clickbank. Every guy, his grandma and his grandma's dog promotes clickbank products so try promoting a few products that arent on clickbank. Competition is substantially lower!

You can submit your site to free directories. It will be painstaking work, but it will definitely help.

(I outsource these directory submissions ala Rempel's suggestion - 400 submissions for $42)

I appreciate the idea, Derek, but my budget for the entire project right now is $25. As I'm relying entirely on this page to pay my January rent and bills, I'm willing to put in the time - my newborn son won't let me fail on that - but money, alas, I have almost none.

Make sure you social bookmark your articles on Squidoo and Hubpages. Also do not forget to use MySpace and Facebook to send links to your main page. Also look for forums that you can submit to follow links that point to your home page. Article directories is another way to point links to your home page. Also find do follow blogs and post a comment with a link on.

Keep doing this and you'll find yourself off on top of the search engines in no time.

OK, next question: I've started getting organic traffic to one of my reviews (H Miracle) but in 9 visitors, 8 bounced in 0 seconds. Is that normal, or is that an indicator of a serious issue? It seems odd to me.

Bounce rate seems pretty high, but with just 9 visitors you can't really tell much. When you've had 100+ visitors you can start seeing a trend, if the bounce rate is still high, then yeah, you need to change some things

To compare it to one of my sites, I have a 44% bounce rate. Another site has an 83% bounce rate (brought down from 90%!)

Those are probably se robots crawling your site... it only takes a robot milliseconds to view all your content and move on...

As for helping build traffic:

Link Building can definitely be an extremely difficult task if you want to
take it on based on purely human labor to go out and request for links,
whether they are one way or reciprocal.

Do slow and continuous directory submissions for your site. This is an
important long term work and solution for any site.

Contacting webmasters of relevant sites requesting for have a link
exchange. Write personalized emails to request for link exchange. It will
be better if you write 2-3 good things about their site and tell them how
link exchange will benefit both parties. Also, mentioning good qualities and
PageRank is always good idea.


Do not forget to ask and give (1) URL of link, (2) Title of link, and (3) Description of Link


Now, main thing is How to find good link partner. Search google and other
search engines for terms like: "keyword reciprocal links", "keyword
links", "Keyword link exchange", "keyword link submit", "Keyword link
partner" etc.


Article Submissions:

Yeah, write quality articles which have some interesting and useful stuff,
and submit them to free article directories.


You need to put link back to your site. Let your article do double duty- (1)
bring traffic and (2) link building. You need to make your keywords
anchor of link to your site.


To be very frank, I see quick results when I succeed to place my 2-3
articles on high PageRank and high traffic sites. Some times we need to
submit article like submission to directories and sometimes we need to
request webmaster via e-mail. You need to tell them why they should put
your article on their site.

Read the whole topic and find something to comment on the topic... job is
done.


Same way leave your links in forums signature. There is few hot topics on
forum signature telling importance at seo point of view and traffic point of
view. Go ahead and do it, you'll make valuable links.
You can do the blog comment and forum sign at non .org and no .edu sites.


Social Book marking Site Submission:

Now a day's people are taking interest in social bookmarking. So, I
thought I should start the service of social bookmarking. Yeah, it is worthy
enough to pay someone to do social bookmarking.

It probably is, but, as I said before - no money.

Also, those 0 second visits - 8 of them came from organic, search engine traffic, if Analytics is right. Only 2 of my 10 organic visits so far have had any duration at all. Do bots use search engines?
