Looking for an alternative to elance

Warriors,

I have a project I'm working on that needs to be coded for wordpress. I'm aware of elance and wanted to know if it's the best way to go or, if anyone recommend an alternative auction/bid site to compare it to?

What kind of coding for wordpress do you need, theme or plugin?

Have you tried rentacoder.com?

I use rent-a-coder. They are free and you get higher paying projects than elance. Give them a try.

I'm looking to have a basic theme coded.
