Yesterday out of the blue we received a warning from our registrars 'Enom' relating to an alleged spam complaint and one of our domains.

I'm familiar with spam complaints arriving at other destinations, such as our hosting company but this is the first time ever in over 9 years online and sending out a lot of email communication that this has ever happened.

The situation is now resolved but the worst case scenario could have been that the domain in question had its DNS blocked.

Does any one have any experience of this, not general spam complaints but spam complaints being relayed via your domain registrars and if so is there a threshold to getting DNS blocked i.e number of spam complaints, are they cumulative or must they be related to a specific circumstance?
