[NEED HELP] Squeeze Page Advice Tips Tricks

Hi fellow Warriors!

I have received highly valuable feedback, suggestions and encouragement from Warrior Forum members in the past couple of weeks I have really been active.

I would like to ask for some more of it

My questions are about squeeze pages. If you feel like you may skip to the bottom for the questions.

I created a "squeeze page" using blogspot and with a radically different layout than your typical "squeeze page".

The page (rather 3 different versions) got 18 signups/optins in a week via Feedburner Email Subscription of which 16 verified their email addresses.

Now, considering that the first 7 optins (in 2 days) were completely unnecessary to get the freebies, I believe the products I'm offering are OK.

After making subscription necessary to use to password protected free downloads, I got another 11 in 5-6 days.
Question 1: Have you experimented with non-typical Squeeze pages, like without any Red Text, Arrows and Highlighting?

Question 2: Have you experimented with Free Subdomain squeeze pages like blogspot, wordpress.com or the like?

Question 3: Is it OK to post like 3-4 Freebies a week or less, without any tips, articles, videos, reports or other material to keep the list interested?

Please treat me like a total noob to "squeezing" traffic while you answer those.

TIA

Samir

If you're just starting out, then it's much better to use
the conventional squeeze page format to ensure that
    you get decent conversion rates.

You can always try more unconventional layouts later -
but use a proven model from the start.

I would NOT recommend having your content on blogspot
    or wordpress.com.

Get your own domain and install WordPress there so you
have 100% control of your content.

    Dedicated to mutual success,

    Shaun

      Hi Shaun!

Thanks a lot for the advice. I really appreciate it.

But I'm really trying to experiment with unused methods here, since I'm new to IM and want to try things out before settling with a set model. I'm looking for discoveries rather than success right now, and need your input on how successful you've been with unconventional methods like these as compared to proven models.

Of course, when I decide to go for success or am in need of bucks, I'll follow your advice and use a proven model.

      Thanks.

      Samir
