how much traffic do you currently get, as this is a big indicator. from reading on here, you need to be generating HUNDREDS of clicks before you get proper sales.

also some prices on each product might be helpful before you click through

I agree. I looked, and clicked, and ran my mouse all over, and didn't see a single link to Amazon, with or without you Amazon ID...

Link your images to Amazon to start with. Also there isn't a link on the Diamondback BMX
page. I would have 3 links on that page, two text and one image link. There isn't a link on the Cheap BMX page either. I've now spent several minutes on your blog and not found one Amazon link. I guess you could offer a prize to whoever finds a link to get people to look

If you need some help setting the links up catch me on Skype in about an hour

You don't have any links to Amazon from that page, not even on the image, you need at least 3 links throughout the review

I personally feel that the lifestyle theme from studio is used more for authority style sites and less of niche sites, but that's not the main problem.

I can't even find the affiliate link to click onto Amazon on the website. Make sure you write a review of the product you're promoting and link more often to Amazon with your affiliate link. Also the picture you include should be clickable with your affiliate link as well.

I suggest you keep adding content and get that site up to the number one spot. I have found that most of my sites lower than 5 don't make much money. And make sure you add some banners from amazon, or at least a few more options to get to Amazon.

I had to go back a second time, but the others are right - you don't have any links to Amazon, affiliate or otherwise. I missed it the first time because it's so basic...

You can't catch fish with a dry hook. Get those links going, including some call-to-action links like "click here to see the current discount on Model X"

Actually, I'd have never made it past the first page. There's nothing compelling there for someone searching for "cheap BMX"...

If you have a couple of bucks to spend, track down Paul Hancox's Pre-Sell Mastery course.

If you don't, look for Ken Evoy's Make Your Site PreSell. You'll have to wade through the SiteSell promotion, but the information is solid. (I'm not slamming Evoy for promoting SiteSell - the whole product is a pre-sell for the service. I just find the promos a little heavy-handed sometimes. Still, you can't beat the price with a stick.)

        Some great advice there!!!

Don't make people work to find the BUY link. Make them have a HUGE desire to click it..

Which one of these links would you click
"Click Here For Amazing Deals From The Most Trusted Seller On The Web"

        Just my 2 cents

        Simon

Besides adding your Amazon affiliate links, let me suggest that you adjust your layout so that your products go on top and your content go on the bottom. I don't know if that's possible with the theme that you are using but you will find your conversions increase as your visitor won't have to scroll down as the products will be right there when your visitor loads up your site.

Not sure if this is helpful ... but when I was looking at the BMX market (many years ago), what I found was most of the traffic was kids without credit cards, a difficult market to convert directly online.

The traffic was there, it just wasn't converting for me.

Maybe you could consider some strategy that gets kids to show parents your site, like a comparison chart or safety ratings, with some sort of "send idea to dad...", maybe via Facebook or SMS (wherever the parents are) ... or even a traditional "tell a friend" email script (though the potential for SPAM is there).

The idea is to get the information ... and your site ... to the actual people who are doing the buying when they are ready to buy.

Also, you may want to consider cloaking your affiliate links in some way.
