How Do You Watermark Videos For Youtube Other Than Windows Video Maker?

I have about 50 videos that I want to upload to youtube. I know that these particular videos will probably get stolen... So, I am wanting to add a watermark to the videos. I have tried Windows Movie Maker and Nero DVD maker... I have no issues placing the text on the video I just cannot figure out how to place it on different parts of the video...

When I place text on the videos it is always in the middle of the screen. I would like to be able to drag it to different areas of the video. Like the top left and lower right...

I would think that an Internet Marketer has created a program where you put your videos in the program and easy add text or watermarks.

I do not really need to edit my videos I just need to be able to place text where I want it.

Does anyone know any easy programs that I can do this with? Also it has to be able to accept Flip HD video format which is 1280x720 HD... I want to keep the same quality and just add text to video...

I DO NOT WANT TO USE YOUTUBE ANNOTATIONS... I want to be text. This way it is part of the video.

    You can do this with any video editing software... like Sony Vegas Movie studio etc:

      Thanks for your input on things. I know every program can do this task, but not all programs have it where you can place the text anywhere on the screen. Plus, some of these programs are extremely hard to use - on top of trying to figure out how to watermark... You see the guy had to make a video for you to know how to do that simple task with sony vegas studio.

      Also I read the discussion and they say WMM which I know about and video dub, and videocharge which cost 99 bucks.

      I just was thinking someone would have made a simple program to do this minor task (watermarking) and sell online or the warrior forum. This would be an easy thing to do.

      I know if I bought Adobe for 500 bucks I could do it, but I am looking for easy and cheap or free...

          Yeah I know about Vegas Movie Studio and I guess that is the best program and I guess there are no easy one step programs.

          I know that all the major programs out there can handle a variety of editing concerns, this is basic knowledge. Google search = video editing programs and you can learn everything. I did that for the last few days. I even tried a few major programs and they were pretty hard. I would have to learn the program first then watermarking...

          I was just wondering if anyone knew of a simple program that specializes in watermarking videos. Like for an example...

          If you wanted to create a 2-3 minute video using slides with a music background. You could use ANY video editing program to do this right??? But there is a company called Animoto, that I didn't find out till about 6 months ago, that specialized in these types of videos.

          They make it real easy and affordable to do basic videos...

          This is what I was looking for video editing... I was looking for someone who sees, that watermarking videos is an issue and decided to create an easy program that can do mainly this one task and offers it real affordable rate or free... I should have asked "what video do you use for watermarking?"

    I was in HeySpread.com for the first time today and noticed that you can have their program do it.

    You have to buy credits to distribute the video, but there was an option to watermark your videos for an extra 2 credits. So each video would cost you 3 credits (15 cents) to watermark and distribute to multiple video sharing sites.

    Probably not an ideal solution for you, but it's an option.

    Even though it is thought of as just a screen-capture software, Camtasia has some nice simple editing features - including watermarking.

      Watermarking in itself does not really look that good and will certainly not prevent thieves from using your content. They can simply place another watermark over yours with less transparency - and YES... this has happened to me.

      Branding is a much better solution that adds professionalism to your content and absolutely eliminates content thieves from using your work. Explained in more detail here:

        You are absolutely right. You can't stop thieves from stealing anything in life, but you can slow them down or help them choose others to steal. It is definitely better than posting your videos butt naked...

        Your videos are very good and your right about branding. There are sometimes you want to put up a video, but not have it go to a major website or a your own brand. So watermarking is the only way that you can kinda save your video without getting in depth on your own product.

        Here is what I was hoping to find... I don't think there is a program out there like this...

        There should be a basic program that you load up... Then you select your video... Then it ask do you want title before video?... (then you can add words with background different colors, few transition effects) Then it ask do you want text on the main part of your video?... (then you add text and place how and where you want it on your video) Then it ask do you want a closing text on vide?... (then you add some closing text) Then is ask you where do you want me to post?... then it gives you 5 of the top video sites and it fills out captcha for you and uploads them to those 5 sites...

        That is the program that I am looking for. They have them for article submitters, why not an easy video watermarker/basic editor and submitter program...

        SOMEONE GET WITH ME... WE CAN COME UP WITH THIS... I WILL DO THE DESIGN AND THE FEATURES... ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS PROGRAM IT... WE CAN SELL HERE FOR $27 BUCKS WITH A $4.99 MONTHLY FEE...

        I would buy that program all day.
