Is Weekly Newsletter Attractive Enough to Generate Opt-Ins?

I am publishing weekly newsletter soon. But I am concern about the opt-in rate. Will it be attractive enough for IMers or should I add an incentive such as an eBook? Warriors, what are your thought?

I hope others will agree, the IM niche is much more internet savvy , than say the antique tea set Niche. So they understand the Optin process and list building marketing. Your newsletter would have to be very attractive from the onset and offer great value, that hopefully spreads through word of mouth.

I think you are far better placed giving a free piece of PLR software or Re-write and package a really good PLR ebook. Then use the Newsletter as your email content for your list.

If you were marketing to an entirely different crowd, I might say that yes, a really, really good newsletter just might entice people to opt-in, however, speaking from my own perspective as a new internet marketer, I already receive more excellent newsletters from some of the top IM experts than I can keep up with!

I'm with Cathy on the freebie idea. Very few people will pass up something free, especially if it comes with PLR.

      Good luck with your newsletter!

      Best,
      El

To attract opt-ins to an 'IM' based newsletter you've got to give away really high quality, unique and exclusive content. Do that and people will want to join - it really is as simple as that.

I guess I would include an incentive for opt in and add then into the newsletter as well.

I will say move to a different niche or if you insist on IM, have a focused niche.

With IM in general, you're competing with the BIG guys.

Plus, a lot of newsletter in IM niches have multiple experts as author. Websites like earlytorise.com, makepeacetotalpackage, and others.

    What is your opt-in rate?

Notice how you don't have an answer?

If you are concerned about something you don't have...

Then you don't have anything to be concerned about.

Get it out there and test.
