Yeah you could sell it as a wso as long as its your product and you did not just buy the rights to it. You could also put a link to it in your sig and then make some helpful posts in the forum to spread it about a bit ;-)

If the product you intend to sell is a PLR product that you did not create yourself, you cannot sell it as a WSO ... you can sell it in Classifieds on the Warrior Forum. WSOs have to be something you created yourself or paid someone to create just for you.

scrofford has made a very good point. Your mindset to NOT want make a mistake is going to harm you more than it's going to help you.

Yes, you want to avoid silly mistakes (for example, listing a PLR product you bought on the WSO forum) but it just isn't possible to not make a mistake.

Instead, look at mistakes or failures as learning experiences that you can look at, analyze and revise your strategy and approach.

Sometimes, to succeed faster, you need to fail faster. = )

Welcome to the forum, Jesus. Alternatively, you could just use a signature link that leads directly to your landing page initially, and then reinvest some of the profits into running a WSO for your PLR product (assuming it is something unique that you created yourself), or listing it in the Classifieds section.

Note: I understand that this might not have been what you have been talking about as far as making a mistake goes, but your thread title got me thinking about this.

If you don't make mistakes you won't learn. Why is it everyone seems to think making mistakes is a bad thing? Ever heard of the phrase "fail forward?" If you don't make mistakes you don't grow or learn.

Do you think the people who have made it big in any business made it perfectly without making a mistake? If you do you are very wrong. In fact most of the great business ideas have come from people failing at first.

So if you want help, learn from your mistakes because you will make them. Then take what you have learned and come up with an even better idea and test it.

You don't want to make a mistake?

You've got the wrong attitude and you're going to let yourself down! We ALL make TONS of mistakes! If you can start looking at every mistake you make as a GOOD thing, you'll be much more successful.

Every time I make a mistake, I know one more thing I shouldn't do, or one more tactic that doesn't work the way I hoped it would.

Mistakes are good, they get you closer to where you want to go.

Gee I made a whole bunch of mistakes for 7 years before I started making money online. How else are you suppose to learn from your mistakes.

If IM was that easy, you'd see a whole lot more people making a fulltime income here.

Don't be fearful of mistakes. Without question, we all make them. The issue is accepting and learning from them. Keep things in perspective and accept that it's all part of the learning process. This is a lifetime issue. Being fearful and not trying certainly keeps you from living life to the fullest.

Don't worry about making mistakes. Everyone makes them. Regardless of what field you are in, where you live, what you do, at some point in time, EVERYONE makes mistakes.

The trick is how you deal with that mistakes after it is made.

If you accept the fact that you will make mistakes, then make them, and learn from them, then you will do quite well.

If you do not learn from your mistakes, then you will likely repeat them over and over again.

As every one said, don't be afraid of mistakes, and certainly do NOT be afraid of taking action.
If you did something "wrong" (in the eyes of who?) and sold 1000 units, would that be a bad thing?

But you asked for suggestions, not a lecture on mindset

I'm not going to say mistake, I 'm going to say "different approach".

A "different approach" is not to just resell some lump of crud PLR you bought for pennies, to others, who know no better.
Have you even read it? Is it in pigeon English? Done a copyscape on it to check how duplicate and over used it is? Can people really earn money if THEY bought it?

Good business has to be defined on "value"!

Sure some people make money, just re-selling PLR.
That doens't mean you will. It doesn't mean it is right either. It doesn't mean you can't do better!
(And by better I also mean you will end up making more money.)

So the real question is, how can you maximise the VALUE for others with this PLR?
How can people use it best for THEM to make money? Can you show them that, or "package" it, so they do?
How can other people really earn money themselves, if they buy it?

I hope you can see it is a different question.

NOT how can I make money with this.
But, how can I help others to make money with this (value).

There are 1001 ideas there, and you can just read some WSOs to see how people either add value, whilst other WSOs do what you asked first "how do I make money", instead of "how do I help others".

Look at Liz Toomey and the other PLR Kings and Queens and see "how" and "why" they sell (& package) PLR.

Whilst that may seem "gay" and weak to some of you, and not seem very "business like" check your facts first.
Those who offer value, stay around longer and make more money. Corporates know this.
A handful of scam artists may get rich a few times, but then it is a down hill road, for life.

Second up, you need to define your brand and product portfolio, so people remember you.

If Jesus was the "go to guy" for PLR on dog training (try not to be - lol) then there we go.

    As suggested, have a signature.
And create some WF classified ads.

I would not even consider a WSO special offer yet.
Warriors expect a very high level of quality and value, and in reality, reputation and "affiliates" are "everything", to run a successful WSO.

Your best bet would be to have your own central web site to sell from.
Get known by being on MANY forums - I am not sure I am allowed to say DP here, but you can google search for "internet marketing forum" and come up literally with 500 potential places to hang out.
    (each with your signature)

Learn what "funnel marketing" (and freeline) is, and get your brand out there, perhaps through a syndicated report, video marketing, article marketing, forum marketing, social marketing (i.e join and/or start a Facebook group and fanpage, or offer a Twitter special bonus channel), & software marketing.

Many people "diss" the old school marketing approaches, and yes their effectiveness may be less than it was in the 1990's, but it is still works (albeit slowly) and are still one of the few FREE ways to promote your brand.

Those staple 7 will do you FAR more good than 98% of shiny light "fad", "trick", "projected income" WSOs.
In fact I should advise you to only pick 2 of them maximum and really work them until they really fly, before moving on. Which 2? Which ever 2 you CAN do and are HAPPY doing. You will be doing a lot of these, over the next 3 years, in the thousands, so pick what you enjoy.

    3 years? OMG!
YES, now we separate the real players.
You were expecting an ROI in 21 weeks?
    Good luck with that!

    Going back to forum marketing as a specific example for a second;
Have a guess what GOOD forum marketing relies upon?

    Any ideas?

YEP, offering VALUE to others, not
"how can I make money from this"

We can apply the same value strategy to spam videos, spam articles and so on.

I doubt you will really see the difference yet, but once you do, then you will know how to make money.

    Any one left standing who thinks that is not the correct question, let me tell you;

I had the honour to interview a 7 figure marketer (not in the IM space) last week, and he said exactly the same thing, was one of the main 4 reasons why he had had such success over his 20+ years in his business.

And it isn't a trick phrase. He genuinely puts helping people first. He is such a nice guy!
And hence he only sells what he knows will do that, in the way that will help them the most.

Read that last paragraph several times.
It's from the lips of a genuine 7 figure marketer.

Stop asking how to make money, and start asking how you can help others to.

Also on a final point, which I think really cements the entire problem with the entire IM industry.
If your PLR is so good, how much money have YOU made using it personally?
Not selling it, but "using" it?
Once you can do that, then you start to earn the right to sell the plr itself.

Yeah I know, that puts a whole layer of OMG on it, doesn't it
Because then you won't need to sell plr, as you can make money from it yourself.

We can get in to an entire debate about the ethics of selling shovels to gold diggers, when you've never pitched the earth yourself even once.
And how many millionaire shovel sellers do you know?

And who would you rather listen to a story from?
The guy who actually struck gold, or the guy who sold him the shovel to do it?
And note how the money wasn't in the shovel. The shovel was just a required tool.

The "map" on where to dig?
But that's just a 1 dollar piece of paper, who would pay for that?

Well it comes back to what I said at the very beginning.
What VALUE does it give the buyer.

A shovel is worth the price of a shovel. Not the price of a gold strike.
The map, is WORTHLESS unless it is real, in which case, why give it away?
Oh yeah the "too big for me to dig myself" line. So you are still digging a part of it right? Hmm!
Oh the "I have enough gold already now and want to give back" argument.
Hmm! Let's not even go there...

The map is a shiny "trick", potentially worth the price of a gold strike, but in reality, almost definitely, not.

And people who buy such treasure maps - you only have your own greed to blame.

So where is the REAL value?

First I think you need to get dirty shoveling and finding gold yourself. (using, not selling)
That will then finance you retiring to level 2.
Not selling maps, but teaching people how to draw their own and find their own real gold cores.
(do you think oil companies buy maps from bars based on local old wives tales?)

But the real value might be in a skill, to turn that gold in to something practical and beautiful, like a ring.
Is the worth of the ring, the gold, or the time it took to craft?
Or in the value (the sentiment) it offers the new lovers?

Sure, "value" is not an easy or simple conversation.

but I think it's in a lot better direction than
    "how do "I" make money"

    Do you get it yet?
