Ads Are Invading My iPhone....And I Love It!

Yes, I just opened up my Pandora app so I can listen to the Gypsy Kings radio while trumping away on my headset using my DNS app to crank out some killer content. Then I decided to take a break and bust out and play some black jack; more ads came my way.

I got 4 good niche ideas to test by watching other people advertise me. I am digging this. Keep 'em coming!!!

While I'm being a bit silly about it, I am serious.....I just got some new niche and product ideas to test.

What other places are you getting niche or product ideas from? The more obscure, the better.......

I look at billboards to get ideas.

I figured if people are willing to spend millions of dollars on billboards, then there must be something there.

I also look at commercials, ads in papers, top sellers on Amazon.

If other people are willing to spend money to market it, then that niche must have some life in it.

My brother in law and I have an app in the app store, I won't tell you which one, but we pull in 3k a month from ads.

We offer a free version of our app with ads, and a paid 2.99 version.

    NO ONE PAYS.

This way of advertising is still untapped compared to the amount of people that have iphones.

      Think about this:
From 2007 until the end of 2010, there were a about 88 million iPhones sold worldwide.

      2,32,849 sold in 2007
      13,727,740 in 2008
      25,103,770 in 2009
and about 47 million sold in 2010!

It seems the number is doubling every year.

I think using iphone apps as a way to advertise cannot fail. People will look at ads all day to avoid paying for the app so you'd be crazy not to capitalize on that.

If that is true then that means only my country felt and is feeling the economic crisis

Alot of people have their priorities mixed up and will always find a way to afford the shiny things. And I'm sure there will be a boost in the sales of shiny things in the upcoming months because it's tax refund season here in the US.
