I actually purchased 3 courses all focused on making money with Amazon. The other 2 have some useful info as well, but Jan's is the one that I keep going back to and really ended up following step by step to do this. It is the only one of the 3 that I got that actually builds a site on video. He tells you exactly what wordpress theme he used and where to get it and has some tricks that I've never heard anywhere else. He leaves nothing to be "figured out." I really had my doubts while I did the work, but I see now that this stuff works! Wanted to say thanks to Jan for the seriously awesome product as well as all the help I've gotten on the forum! I can hardly wait for sale # 2, 3 etc as I continue building links and now I am starting on my next sites!

I made my first sale too less than a month ago with clickbank.
But I then started to promote Amazon and found Amazon sells better, even if the commission is low.

Yes there are very good WSO's in the forum about Amazon.
I see you took Jan Roos video course, I read excellent reviews on his WSO.
But the one I took is Micheal Franklin's one, his system does work too.

Anyway, good job, I'm on my way to scale up, and I hope you are too.
Let's become rich! lol

Congratulations, Stan! It sounds like the course you bought lays out a really solid plan for building and monetizing Amazon sites.

Now that you've built one site successfully, don't rest on your laurels - commit to building at least one site per week (that's being conservative and it should be very easy to accomplish, IMHO) and watch your income skyrocket!

You followed through, well done, you didn't give up. I know for some beginners it can be difficult. You're also at number 11, well if you keep following through with that focused attitude you won't be long at getting into that top ten spot, the front page of google, who knows if you push you may get number 1, good luck.

Stan, don't just sit there and wait for things to magically happen. Now that you're seeing your site rank at #11, do everything in your power to push it up to #1. Also, with Amazon, it is a numbers game, and you need to have multiple sites in order to make any appreciable income, so keep creating sites in the meantime and don't rest on your laurels (I'd suggest at least one site a week).

Thanks for all of the encouragement! Unfortunately, I got really excited after that first sale and went and submitted content to about 30 sites at once for backlinks... the next day, I dropped to 234 in Google

I hear this is not uncommon though and that I will likely get back up there within a few weeks (sometimes longer). Nonetheless, this was my fault, not Jan's as he specifically mentions NOT to do that within his course.

One other thing I wanted to say is that with his method, if I focused, I could literally build several sites a day (if I outsource the writing like I am). The theme he recommends is so clean, so visually appealing and SO easy to get site after site made. I really can't say enough good things about the course. If you're thinking about getting it- don't! I want to keep the good stuff to myself!

I got the $4.95 trial of "Magic Submitter" and submitted a bunch of stuff at once. I think I did 17 social bookmarking sites and the rest blog sites. I should have known to take it slow

Don't buy Jan's course.....Just kidding It is really good but I'm started to get worried that too many people are getting it and saturate the Amazon market!

I have two sites. One I haven't done anything with, and the other I'm slowly building up. I have received alot of comments on it and one guy asked what I did to get it up and running. The one I really like is for some pricey stuff (solar panels) but I have decided to include clickbank DIY stuff on their as well as Amazon. Obviously for Clickbank I have had to visit the University of Google to do my research and reviews. It's been interesting comparing two products using Google.

This is awesome. I just purchased that program this week myself. I've been working on Amazon marketing already and I felt like I needed something more, specifically with keyword research and driving traffic. I've been able to use this course so far to 'tweak' one of my best sites just last night. I'll see how it affects the results. In the meantime I'm going to be setting up a new site this weekend using his techniques. I hope to post that I've got my first sale from this process soon.

I've had my first Amazon sale last week, from another site I kinda threw together. But I've learned so much since then and I'm going to go back to my old sites and give them a face lift once I get some things going.

Stan I have a question for you. How long has the site been up and how long before you started seeing results. Also how is your traffic been? I'm not seeing any traffic yet and it's driving me crazy. I suspect Google is out to get me. <grin>
