Resell Rights Dilemma

I am strongly considering offering a limited number of resell rights to one of my products.

I am wondering what your thoughts are on forcing the resell rights owners buyers into signing up for product notifications etc..

How can you force this or enforce it?

What does the notification have to do with the product? Perhaps if you plan to be updating frequently whatever you're offering and the original resale buyers will get these updates free, just make it very known that it's in their best interest to subscribe to product updates.

probably no way to enforce, im mulling over whether I should before looking into the hows and whys

Yeah, pushing the best interest to sign up is how I have gone
