How Do I Make A Squeeze Page With Aweber Using Wordpress

I need to make a squeeze page with a aweber form to capture
email addresses offering a free ebook as a bonus for signing up.

The rest of the wordpress blog I plan on having columns on the right
with categories & recent & a aweber signup form up on the top right.

    1. You just do it as html
    2. upload to your server
    3. In your blog create a page named "blog" with no content on it
    4. your blog admin go to settings > reading and chose a "A static page (select below)" and than for "front page" chose your squeeze and for posts page chose "blog"

    Hope it helps

    Thanks,
    Alex

You can also use their new plugin (aweber's)....I have only looked at it a bit, so I don't have a review, but here is the link:

      Code:

Ofcourse one can use the plugin but not in your day to day WP themes. If you want to use the plugin and create a WP squeeze page you need a template that supports that. The plugin is mostly built to create forms for your side bar.

That's why I recommended html page and the settings done as most people either don't have a custom/premium theme that support that feature or it's simply easier and accessible for the average Joe to create it as html page (there're tons of free templates you just need to add your code and text to and there you go)

        Thanks,
        Alex

Lol, why do you apologize? Maybe the OP won't find it needed on the squeeze page, but there's the blog where your tip will be needed.

I created a page using Komposer & named it squeeze.html

I then uploaded it to the domains root & renamed it squeeze.php
It's not showing up anywhere in the settings what did I do wrong.

I'm using this theme which is widget ready
and has a landing page included.

The only thing you did wrong was listening to what alex said...

If you want to use a html squeeze page in your WP install - download the no opt-in guide from my sig and follow the step by step instructions.

Aweber will generate a script for you, it has a tool and you delete the fields you don't need, so you may have just a name and email address for example, then you finish and it generates the script.

Copy that script to notepad or similar text editor, highlight the INPUT fields and copy them to clipboard.

Use Komposer (free) to open your squeeze page code, most come with some existing INPUT fields, paste the input fields from your clipboard to the code page in Komposer and compare them to the pre-existing ones.

If the script was written for AWEBER the only thing different will be your unique references for each field, either way, delete the old INPUT fields and save your squeeze page, upload it to your server with FTP and test it.

I would use BFT Autoresponder Wordpress Plugin, it has a built in autoresponder so you can set up your emails in advance and it sends them out at the intervals you set there is HTML code for the squeeze page that you can put in a widget, post or page, and the follow on page is set by you
    And its free
