Here's the thing people... Now.. I'm not into drama and big announcements like this.. but I've just seen yet another comment about threads being "deleted" to hide something.. To ANYONE who thinks that this is happening... Go read the stickies at the top of the forum. MEMBERS moderate EVERYTHING.. if a thread disappears it is because.... WE have collectively put in enough bad post reports for it to go. Not because Harlan is in league with Allen, or because Guru X paid a moderator a $5 to get rid of the bad press happening about him.. I know this isn't related to making money, but I like this forum and it really narks me off that people get twisted little minds about something they know f*** all about.. My father taught me something once.. He taught me the words: "I don't know!" He taught me it is perfectly OK to say you don't know something, if you don't know, then you don't... Much love and respect to all who read this and find it doesn't apply to you, I'm sorry to you.. but there are some people that really need to read this and switch a light on. Peace Jay |

There are NO moderators in this main forum. Anything that gets deleted is gone because enough members thought it did not belong here. We do have a few moderators in some of the other sections of the forum, and our only job is to weed out spam in those areas. No one other than Allen can delete a post from the main forum with one click of a button. Anything missing from here is something that the forum as a whole decided was not something that should be allowed to stay. There are no hidden agendas, no secret "cliches", no "old boys club" or any other hidden things going on in the main forum in any shape, form, or fassion. |

You can beg all day.  I'm not talking about anything concerning members getting together.. My comment has to do with people thinking that there is a hidden "club" of secret mods or similar in the main forum. Other than everyone's ability to report a post, there aren't any mods on this forum who have the power to delete posts in the main forum. |

Jay I hate it too when people go off half-cocked because they haven't checked all the facts. The famous thread got zapped (by Warriors) and Allen actually reinstated it because he wanted to see where it was going. Hold it . . . maybe that was part of the conspiracy. Martin |
