I'm somewhat confused about the stats they show for products. Specifically, I'm wondering about the 'avg rebill total'. When I initially saw it I thought it was how much you got per rebill, due to the low amount I was seeing. After thinking about what the name implies, and seeing products with rebill totals over 500, I'm doubting my initial thought.

So my question is, when I look at the 'avg rebill total', am I looking at what I get each month, or what I can expect to get over the course of the customers subscription?

On another note, why is it that there are products that have the rebill icon, but when I look at their sales page it explicitly states "One time payment"?

Avg Rebill Total: This number is only shown if the vendor offers recurring billing products (e.g., products like memberships and subscriptions that regularly bill customers over time). This number shows the average amount an affiliate makes on all of the rebilled sales. Note that this number doesn’t include the initial sale amount.

    Neither.

It's the average that current affiliates are getting over the course of their customers' subscriptions. Your mileage, as they say, may vary greatly (just as it can with refund-rates), according to how the product/service is pre-sold.

Important to appreciate that it's only an average. Some affiliates' customers may characteristically drop out after a month or two, while those of others may typically subscribe for a year or more. Depending (partly/mostly) on the information they were fed before they joined.

I don't know. My first guess is that maybe the sales page has changed since the figures presented were compiled? Or they're vendors with multiple products in one account, each sharing one commission-rate and one marketplace listing, and that figure doesn't apply to that sales page?

So then the products with rebill totals over 500 would be products that on average have a better retention rate?

It depends on what the monthly charge is, doesn't it? One can work out, simply by dividing the figure quoted by the monthly cost, for how many months the "average customer" remains subscribed.

But again, don't assume that an average worked out over (maybe) a large number of affiliates' customers is necessarily going to be your average: that will depend, at least to some extent, on how you promote the service/membership.
