Twitter Error Message

I've been getting this error a lot lately when I go to approve a friend request:

error/This account is currently suspended and is being investigated due to strange activity.

Has anyone else noticed this? What does Twitter mean by "Strange activity"?

I just want to make sure I don't actually do it, whatever it is.

    Twitter usuallysuspends accounts for sending out excessive friend requests to strangers. A percentage of those strangers block the account, which sets off red flags and suspends the account. Nothing bad will happen to your account for trying to follow them.

    How would Twitter know who is a stranger?

    Since when does Twitter even have friend requests? You guys must have a different version than the rest of us.
