How can I get more Twitter Followers??

I have an eminem fanmade twitter. I am trying to get 10,000 followers. In the beginning it was easy, I just followed 300 of eminems followers then 3 days later I unfollowed who didn't follow back and kept doing this until I hit 2,000 followers. After that there is a follow/unfollow limit.

The only other thing that I know of and have been doing is commenting on Eminem's facebook profile page and every facebook group/page of eminem I can find. I also post regulary in an eminem forum advertising in my signature.

    I think you need to follow same niche.

    Try to use also 3rd party application for twitter and rss.

      If you read what I did to get followers in my first post here and read the description on the fiverr page you will see its the same concept. On the fiverr page it says "must have under 1,800 followers" and thats because I can only compelte the gig if you have under 2,000 followers...since there is no follow/unfollow limit. On my account I have over 2,000 followers, so I need a different method. Still weird???

        One way to get more followers is to use a service like Twitter Feed and auto retweet blog posts from multiple blogs. Make sure that you two or three good hashtags. People will follow you by searching hashtags.

        There's no 2000k follower limit. Twitter lets you follow more people after awhile. There are accounts who follow 50k or more people though it's difficult to predict how many it will let you follow once you've exceeded the soft limit of 2k followers.

          I dont understand how to use twitter feed as I have no blogs, I use other people's blogs? I only post 1 tweet a day of an eminem quote, sometimes news. Anyway are you saying if I put #eminem after my tweet I can get more followers? I have tried that with the #teamshady but it didn't increase my following...

    Im not here to plug anything but i throught you may be intrested i supply and advertise on the warrior forum packages that generate 5,000 10,000 25,000 targeted visitors or followers to your page or offers via facebook twitter or youtube or alexa.

      sounds interesting. But how can I be sure the traffic is targeted? I am looking for real, active fans of Eminem.

      How can you get 25,000 targeted followers for a niche as small as washing machine enthusiasts? Or a niche that doesn't have people that spend a lot of time online?

    Yup. Follow people within the same niche and you can also get better number of followers. Apart from following, you can also place a link on forums that focus on your niche.

      Thanks guys for all your suggestions. I realized a long time ago that the 2,000 limit is just a temporary thing. Once its gone I'm able to get more followers by following people. Also using hash tags and posting on related forums. Also created a website promoting the twitter/facebook page and commenting on related youtube videos.
