How do I hide my affiliate link in an article

I want to write and submit articles to promote a Clickbank product that I am an affiliate for.

Most article directories require a text version of my article. How do I hide my Clickbank link?

Thanks,

Elizabeth

You don't, if you get found out you'll get banned.

Directories have submission rules for good reason and directory owners have a right to say what they want or don't want on their sites - just as you have a right to say what goes on your site - so why try to trick them.

A lot of article directories will still allow you to include a coded url like

    <a href="myClickBanklink">Click Here For More Info</a>

in your Resource box or Author Signature. That is, in any case, the best place to put it and where directories like ezinearticles prefer it.

How about creating your own page and doing a permanent redirect? Is it allowed?

You are better off creating a landing page for the product and capturing email addresses, that way you would benefit more.

Putting a clickbank link in the author bio as JPaston suggested is still using an affiliate link and against most directories rules.

Is it possible to set up a free blogger blog then just redirect once the article is approved? Or, if you have your own hosting, just cloak the link using the htaccess file and a php redirect file.

    well..there are so many ways.

A simple method would be a blogger/squidoo page and then have (cloaked) links on the page using some short-url service....and then in the article just link to the blogger site.

Own landing page is always best, needless to say i use my own tool (ASQ) for all my clickbank/affiliate sites and links always go there.

There are also countless other methods like .htacess redirect, iframes, PHP as others already suggested.
