NEED ADVICE ON AFFILIATE LINK

Hi,
First thank you all for your advice and my question is when I want to promote a product as an affiliate using article marketing what is better and why?


First I just put my affiliate link in the article or my recourse box and the link is going to take them straight to the affiliate offer.


Second I build a website so when somebody clicks on the link in my article it is going to take them to my website and on my website there is going to by a ling to that affiliate offer.



So what is better way and why?

And also is a blog good as a website?

    I Send them to Squeeze page then after they enter their email they see my offer.. then I can go back and market to them other related affiliate offers...

      Option 2 is better. I'm sure on your site you have a sign up form to get a free offer.

      For example, if you are in the dating niche you could offer them a free report. Something like "How To Get Anyone Woman To Date You Regardless Of Your Looks"

      Then your eBook delivers what the title says. That way you can follow up with them later. Besides, it's nice to put something in your resource box like "To get your free report that lays out how any guy can get a date regardless of his looks, visit here"

      That model is proven and it works. The other one, not so much.
