Hello Everybody,

I'll be honest with myself and I simply don't care about what others might think of me. I am a newbie in this field even though I have been aware of this field for at least 5 years. I am a student with considerable amount of time to spent in early mornings, late night and weekends. I build really good wordpress websites and I know wordpress, domain and hosting set up in and out. I know how to write a decent article and have been a ghost writer for the person who has the second highest number of articles on ezinearticles.com. I basically know everything to come up with a website but does not know anything about keyword research, marketing or traffic generation. I am a very fast learner and would like to take a course or buy a product or most preferably, have someone to mentor me. My problem is that I get disappointed when seeing the internet with cut-throat competition and thinks I am too late for this. Secondly, I am lazy to take action and drops things midway. Could you please recommend a course/product/mentor who would fill the gaps and guide me ?

Thank you so much to all who responded so far

@ daangertenaar, I will surely check his site. Do let me know if you have more recommendations.

@ sleep, I am not looking for $1000 even in two months time. You said it right. I am more than happy to work. For me, hope that there is light at the end of tunnel is enough

@Jay norestin, Sure I will check your stuff and as you guessed, I am not yet rich for the big ticket items at $1997 and so

@E. Brian Rose, Thanks for the new insight. That seems true.

@NikkiDelgado, I will check your signature and to be brutally honest, there is a big gap between the time when I got interested into IM and my second coming (now). Facebook is honestly, new for me but I am ready to learn that which takes to succeed.

@yankforlife41, I will check you signature for sure.

      Thanks again

Its hard to recommend someone in the affiliate marketing industry.. the people I would recommend beside myself.. their stuff are quite expensive.. I just released a course that should be able to get up and running fast just doing seo.. see the link on my signature below for more info

One bit of advice that I can give you when searching for instructions or an instructor is to make sure that everything being taught is based on case study and not theory. Be sure to ask the author.

Also, keep in mind that posts like this usually get nothing but responses from people that say, "try my course". All of them will tell you that it is exactly what you need.

Can't Go Wrong With These Guys:

        • Jason Fladlien: He will teach you the fundamentals of affiliate marketing. All of his courses are solid and affordable.
        • Andre Chaperon: Best guy to teach you about communicating with your email list to make sales.
        • Peter Spaepen: For a unique angle on getting traffic (get on his list...he only opens his courses for short periods of time).
        • Chris Rempel: How to build focused niche affiliate sites that can create a full-time income.

Anyway...there are a lot of good teachers out there. Like someone mentioned above, make sure that they include case studies.

One of the best marketers I have found who shoots straight from the hip and tells it like it is ... Jimmy D. Brown.

His material is SOLID. His track record is TOP NOTCH.

Just "Google" his name and you'll be almost overwhelmed with choices... take your pick... EVERYTHING I have gotten from him is FIRST CLASS.

I hate to be blunt here, but when newbies' are asking for help do you think we could actually recommend something of value instead of PLR products that are available ALL OVER the internet.

I'm not trying to be an a$s but what happen to all the recommendation of offering value?

Remember, I DO check everyones signature not for policing the forum but my own benefit. I like to see what's being used, sales letter formats, squeeze page ideas, etc. When someone recommends a newbie look at there sig for link to product/service that will help them then I investigate a little future to see if it's PLR, there own product, reviews around the internet on it, etc.

I hope the mods don't take me the wrong way, and if so, please, PM me or talk to me about it. I just remember when I first started out in this business. It was much worse than it is now for getting good reliable info and I had a VERY hard time learning from stuff that was being sold.

Times HAVE changed 'A LITTLE' and there are reputable products/services out there but there like needles in hay stacks. As a newbie, if the needle is on the right side of the hay stack and you start YOUR journey on the left side, then you're going to have to go through A LOT of hay before you find the needle you need.

@adils29, I think your signature has been disabled. I do not see any signature

@NikkiDelgado, Thanks for the mentoring offer. I have noted your skype id.

@MWGrubb58, Thanks for pointing me to him. Jimmy.D.Brown seems to be a no non sense guy.

@CyberSorcerer, Thanks for your timely intervention. What you said about some signature products are indeed true. But you didn't give any recommendations. Please let me know if you have any good experiences with any product/coach
