I have decided to expand my marketing efforts to YouTube by creating video tutorials on WordPress plugins, installations, and user-guides.

Has anyone had success with similar efforts? If so, does anyone have any tips for an amateur YouTube marketer?

Much appreciated.

I just did some quick keyword research on the keywords I wanted to target, and then made 20 videos based on those keywords.

I did it all in a row, 1 video per day, then backed off a bit.

I should never have slowed down, because I get daily leads from my videos just from the 20 or so. And I only have 1 or 2 tutorial videos, the rest are me just talking at the camera.

I also added about 10 friends, subscribed to their channels, left a channel comment and 2 video comments each per day for those 20 days, so that could have a huge impact on my exposure.
