How much would it cost to get a sales video done with similar quality to these?

Copy and paste the link, instead of clicking on it. Should work.

Franklin, thanks for the detailed info.

        Man5,

If you go back in and back off the ".html" so it ends at "showcase" the link works.

Well speaking from a production view point, you have several elements that are combined to create a great video,

    1. voice over, professional quality.
    2. Graphics, clear and nicely integrated.
    3. Motion production
    4. Royalty Free distribution content
    5. over all professional production.

Work like this is not cheap, it takes around 4 to 7 days to put together these types of quality video productions, so imagine the amount of time it would take to produce the content, put it together, time it, sync it out, perform work flow and demo it out the door.

I expect on average about 300 to 1500 for average work.

500 to 3500 for above average cable quality work.

1800 to 12000 for network quality work.

Prices can go up from there, but really the market for this kind of cost is not here.

Most of the time, TV stations, get kids right out of college, pay them minimum wage plus 2 bucks an hour and they get all the medium quality work done and charge premium prices.

So in a perfect world $500 bucks would be a great fee, but I think you could get a lower end product for some off line clients, I know the local market for video production is like a third grader did it, and these guys pay big bucks for really bad work. interesting thread.

I second Tim's estimates. He's right on the money.

Does a quality high cost to produce video convert better than a simple homemade video?

High quality video does convert better if you are promoting a business.

Can I ask why is that? For me personally it is about what is being offered not the quality.
