Cheap as chips doesn't get you good conversions.

Offering to write a sales letter for just $47 with all of the time it takes to research and study your prospects product and target market, the sums simply don't add up.

One cannot offer copywriting seriously at this very low end price. S/he won't be able to do your product justice. It'll just be a very, very fast whack it out and forget it piece of sales copy.

You're better off paying someone more money who will take your project seriously.

If I can assist you, let me know...

Actually, I have seen some of his work and if you read through all the reviews in the thread, people have been experiencing good results/conversions with his copy. I once used his services and he sent me a huge questionairre he wanted me to fill out and he then goes and does his own research as well into your market. Lots of people will offer a service like this when they are trying to attract new long-term clients.

He also turned down one of my projects and sent the money back because he said he did not feel comfortable enough with the niche that he could write a well converting sales page for it. If he didn't care and were just doing quick jobs he would have just banged one together for me and not said a word.

To say cheap as chips doesn't get you good conversions is far too general of a statement to make. Yes, cheap doesn't always mean good BUT expensive doesn't always mean good either. He is offering a service to those who can't afford the time of high charging copy-writers and by the looks of things, people are very happy with the results.

I'm inviting you to post this up in the Copywriting Forum.

It'll be interesting to note how the other very experienced pro copywriters on this forum respond to your statement, that a dirt cheap copywriter can hit your product out of the park... and make your product sell like gangbusters.

As for testimonials, I take those with a pinch of salt on this forum.

No experienced copywriter offering their services for just $47 can do their clients products the justice they deserve - period.

The math vs time allowance expended... simply don't add up whatever you say.

Don't put words in my mouth, I never said that. What I did say was that people were happy with the results and conversions they were getting. And bear in mind, these are people who could most probably not afford the services of a more experienced copywriter. What they are getting for $47 is well worth the money they are paying.

I have used and paid for experienced copywriters in the past, people like Michel Fortin and John Hostler, and yes, there work is well worth the money I paid. But what you are saying is that just because someone is charging $47 means they cannot provide you with great copy. So if Michel Fortin had once started out by charging people $47 to try and get some long-term clients on board then I should steer clear of something like that? Not true. You can't base a decision purely on price - it's ludicrous. Reputation and proven results is much more important to me than price.

For many people starting out they are not going to have the money to spend thousands on a professional copy-writer. And I may be wrong but majority of people I see asking for copywriters on this forum always seem to be after cheap services just to get their product selling.

            Thus my recommendation.

But nice presell for your service none-the-less.

You can talk to Chris Elliot at Copywriting Rush (copywritingrush.com) (mods I am not an affiliate) I just know he does excellent work but it will cost ya. I think he is an excellent copywriter though and will create the letter you need. He has a profile here on the forum.
