This depends somewhat on the niche . . .

But I ALWAYS try to link to at least one page that has a way to collect an email address.

I prefer to send them to a squeeze page, but with some niches I don't have a "squeeze" page, so they get sent to my blog (then DigiList Builder and WPlapdance go to work on trying to capture the email). However, quite often I may link to a product and a squeeze page, but the product is mine and usually will be equipped with a "exit pop" to attempt to capture their email if they decide not to purchase.

The short answer is "squeeze page"

    Hope this helps

    I would see this way.

If an article is optimized for highly targeted keywords, I might send visitors to what many call money site.

Otherwise, I prefer to send visitors to get free gifts, the optin site.

Why? if you give quality products and provide ways to succeed to work at home, they are your customers For A Life Time. Agree?

      I'd go with the blog.

Because now days blogs are so versatile that you can essential design them to act as landing pages.

The only difference will be that they will be a lot more SEO friendly.

You can also become an expert in your niche, build up a following, and it will be that much easier to market your products to customers who already trust you.

I would go with the Landing page, [optin], and follow up with an email series which give links to blog posts in some of the emails, so the subscriber has a chance to read the blog posts you link too anyway.

Aslong as you have hot content on your blog, they will hopefully find it interesting.

Lets look at 2 of the versions

Visitor -> Landing page, [optin] -> Email them a series, with some Blog post link in emails
= you get the subscriber and they see your blog

        Lets see the other way:

Visitor -> Blog -> content + Optin form form

=they are Not guarantied to optin, they might leave, so you might lose that subscriber.

So i would go for getting his email with a squeeze page,

But your model depends on your niche, your individual goals, your traffic source etc. Don't just do it because I say so
