My guess is that you are being re-indexed, give it a day or two and it will probably come back

But i have already 1039 urls out of 3410, and why reindexing affects me?

This query (site:http://www.webdevelopment-tips.info/ - Google Search) shows that Google has indexed 1000 pages on your site.

If you were banned, that number would be zero.

Just because you don't rank does not mean that you have been banned. It just means that you are not ranking where you want to be.

I, see, but the thing that i don't understand, is that why it happened suddenly. Doesn it have to do with google dance?

Google Dance is simply a name given to Google's constant reshuffling of the search results.

It could be that, and it could be that Google devalued some of the links pointing to your site, thereby lowering your quality score.

You can disappear as quickly as two days, and you can reappear just as quickly.

One of my newer sites, set up in Sept 2010 was dancing around. Most of the time, it was on page 14, then to 11, then back to 14. Then it disappeared completely for two weeks, then returned to page 11, then page 14.

As of tonight, it sits at #32.

It is just the natural order of things.

Patience is your friend. But if you drop out for more than a few weeks, I'd be concerned.

You have to look inside and outside for a reason.

        For example:

        * Did you recently do some shady link building?

        * Did one or several of the sites that used to link to you take away those links or simply disappear from the web?

There are far too many factors at play for me to say with certainty one way or another.

            I don't know. I don't know anything about them.

But if you have been using them for a long time, and it recently became an issue, I would look elsewhere.

Unless you search and find other of their customers suddenly complaining that everything went south.

Sometimes Google decides that a practice employed by a company is suddenly bad news and they will discount everything done by that company.

I have seen it happen before, but it doesn't happen very often.

Well when you hire someone you look at their background or portofolio first, after you hire them. And i think if you hire a SEO expert, there is no way to happen this. You get banned by google if you brake their policy.

You can not get banned for getting links to your site. Google will ban you however if you are using black hat methods on your page. Such as hiding blocktext keywords on your site that no one can see. This will most certainly get you pulled out of google. However in many cases you are not banned for life they will crawl your site again a month or so later and if all is fixed they will reindex you.

I would never be willing to make that as an outright statement. Google can and WILL ban you for any techniques it detects as artificially attempting to manipulate their results.

If you started pounding out 1000's of links from shady sites, which might already have issues with Google, you could suddenly find your site disappearing from the listings. You may technically not get de-indexed, but you could be penalized so severely you might as well have been.

Consistent creation of quality links is the best bet.

Yeah your right. But I guess just read the policies or do the ethical way..

                    Take care.

Any website can be banned for any reason that Google sees fit.

There are people online who have proven that you can make a nice living online without every worrying about Google, for example: Harvey Segal

Look him up. He is cool.

The hosting doesn't have to do with banning your website, the thing is that if you get banned by google then you will loose all your traffic.

Yes, you might edit your original post and take out the link.

Just show the url, without the http://

Otherwise, you are in violation of Warrior Forum rules.

Its the google dance it is nothing to worry about really. I had a site sitting in the number 2 spot for the main keyword for a couple months then one day vanished of the top ten pages. Once it came back I was sitting in the number 1 spot and have been there for the past 2 months now. They are just searching for the right place to put your site. I am willing to bet you just finished a large link building campaign or you changed a couple of the main keywords your site is linking to. It will take a few days but if all is well you should move back up to atleast where you were before. Hope this helps

JMO off page factors such as link building you have no control over it unless Google can 100% without a doubt (highly unlikely) that you're the one that's trying to manipulate the SERPs I doubt if you'd be in trouble, if not I could easily sabotage the competition by send tens of thousands of spammy links and links from link farms their way. Some sites that rank have tens of thousands of spammy type of backlinks and still do okay in the SERPs (I think trying to bombard the competition kinda backfired in some cases).

If Google bans your site the Googlebot will stop coming to your site (don't check on the first week of the month unless you have a strong heart and like anguish )

P.S. as for the spammy type links I used to send them via the article directories (I guess that's why some don't seem to allow backlinking anymore )
