Why people love IM

INTERNET MARKETING

Hello I am new here, and decided that I wanted to join. Since many here are IM'ers I would like to know why you like Internet marketing (if you do) . and its benefits. what i can think of are.

1)Work from home or where ever you use the computer with internet connection.You can work in your bed or in the bathroom.

2)be your own boss

3)Can work any hours you would like

4)Low startup cost, just need a computer, internet connection, a small amount of money for a domain and hosting expenses

5)earn while you sleep, passive income

I like the challenge.

I like that there is virtually no cap to the money you could make.

I like that you can watch yourself get better with your efforts over time.

I agree to a point, but would like to add that a lot of people love the idea of IM, but aren't all that impressed with it once the reality of having to work hits.

  Let me tell you something about this whole "being your own boss" notion...
  
  It's highly over-rated!
  
  I tried it, and here's what I found:
  
  > The friggin' SOB is a slave driver sometimes. All this "finish this, correct that, post the other thing." To top it off, the meanie is always asking me about results. I thought this was about taking it easy...
  
  > He's also psychic. You can't call in sick and slack off, because he knows. He may not say anything, but he knows, and you know he knows.
  
  > He catches me every time I try to take a shortcut, and makes me do it right.
  
  > To be fair, he's never made me eat, drink or use the bathroom according to set schedule. He pays me what I'm worth (and even more, some days).

Hello!

I am relatively new to Internet Marketing but not new to selling online. I have been selling on Ebay and Amazon for years. I think that the main motivation for me is not to have to work outside for someone (no commuting, no staff meeting, not being told what to do, etc...)

For me, it's the Love of it, but also for the challenging aspect. I Love doing things that most people will tell you it's impossible, or this and that. Anymore comments?

It's the challenge. I love marketing and the challenge of undersanding people and giving them what they need.

The money is great and if I didn't make any I'd be doing something else for sure, but I get up in the morning for the challenge!
