It's my first site just trying everything out. Thought I would do it about something im interested in. Thank you so much for taking the time to have a look at my site. I'm going to become an affiliate of all horse based products. I'm going to have landing pages to encourage them to buy the products. Once again thank you so much for putting the time in to review my site

I like the site! Why don't you consider creating your own info product of some kind on some subject on the horses? Do your research and find out what people in that market want and write away. Then you could either use it to give away while building a list or outright sell. I would build a list first though. Then create an even better product to sell.

addon: you might also want to change the font color in the breeds. I click on a breed and it takes me to the page ok, but the content is really hard to read because of the color. I would change it to black.

Looks pretty good. Loads up kind of slow, but not terribly slow.

It is kind of hard to read with the color font you have on that background color.

I am a little unclear on what the site is for.

Overall, it look spretty professional, but not so much that it does not seem like a personal site, that is a pretty good thing.

Switch the neon green logo to red. Turn the dark greys to lighter grays. You site navigation is solid and clean. I like the whole site it just looks a little dark.

I LOVE IT! Well done!

I had no idea there were so many breeds (and you really do have to change that font color, OR the background color). I am quite taken with the Gypsy Vanner. Loved the videos. You've got quite a bit of content on there, and I think it's all really well done.

I think that chalk gray color for the theme is so refined. Unless you're really crazy about the green in your banner, consider a medium-dark cantaloupe orange, which can be really stunning with this smudgy gray.

Well done. I'm sending the link to my brother who loves horses. He'll enjoy it tremendously, as I did.

My site is for all horse lovers and just a general place for them to chat and learn about horses. I will attempt to make money through affiliate links with horse products as they are very pricey.

  I am very new to this affiliate thing all together. I need your help! I am a music producer that makes instrumentals & Beats for artists on the internet. The market is literally booming right now. I do sell beats. What I am trying to figure out is how to have it setup where other affiliates sell my beats and I give them a huge commission. I do not know if I am in the right place, if not maybe you can point me in the right direction. Or would be great if anyone has some knowledge on this. Oh, no!!

Jess, I don't like this version nearly as much. I think your new header looks a bit cartoonish, and the overall design, while no longer "somber," is also no longer as sophisticated and elegant looking.

Looks like a pretty nice site. Lots of content, like the forum integrated on the site. One criticism... It's really hard to read for me, and little unorganized. The gray background and grayish text is tough on my eyes. I could never read an entire article with that layout.

That is a very nice start to what could be a great site.

I think you need to generally increase the font size overall on the entire site, even though that may change the formatting. Use Arial or Verdana as a standard font for reading on a pc.

Also, when you are formatting articles, be sure to limit the length of each paragraph to about three or four sentences at most, and leave a double space between paragraphs. It is much easier to read and encourages people to stay on the site.

You can probably increase the font size on the menu buttons without changing the size of many of the buttons since there is so much white space before and after the text.

Gotta love the content. Very nice.

I dont know what to have on the banner, i had some cartoon grass but everyone said it stopped it looking professional and slick. That is what i need help on next i keep playing around with it but i dont think it looks right?

This is not true at all.

Not only is the site put together by somoene who loves what they are doing, but the site itself is laid out well.

Inthehoof is an easy to navigate site with a good selection of topics of interest in the nav bar.

Eventually when the site gets monetized or starts list building, it would be good to replace the picture gallery above the fold with something that helps with those processes, but right now, it is very decent site.

@inthehoof Your website will be a constantly gowing and evolving project in your life. It will never be "perfect" but it iis certainly ready to start being advertised and written about in articles and pretty much anything you want to do with it.

You can also find out what people think about their own personal web designs by clicking on the links in their sig files. No offense intended, but in case you don't know what that is, it is the link just below their post that looks kind of like a little advertisement.

It isn't like you need to copy all the designs you see from those websites, but because all those links are supposed to be from your own personal sites you can get an idea, maybe, of what they think is important in web design.

You are very welcome.

You might not like everybody's site designs, but you might be able to get some good ideas of what to do or not to do for your own site.
