Greetings Warriors,

Don't know how I missed it before, but I've just stumbled upon the forum here. I've been experimenting with affiliate marketing for the past year or so (i.e promoting products with no success )

I've found a new product that I believe to be a good one to promote, and I'd like to ask you guys your opinion about my plan:
1. Setup a good sales page pointing directly to the checkout page (they won't mind, I asked)
2. Setup PPC campaign to point to my sales page
3. Promote my sales page through articles, postings... etc

Does this model still work? Or, am I using a model that is out of date and useless?

It's definitely not rocket science, the product is on ClickBank and is available for anyone to promote. The reason I'm asking is that, at some point in time, I gave up on CliclBank because I would not buy 99% of the products there. Don't mean to act all ethical on you guys or anything, but I really have issues selling products that I don't think are good ones.

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

The sales funnel you have set up is correct.

However if you are a newbie I would consider implementing just 1 or 2 of these marketing strategies. You will be overwhelmed if you use all of them and may not be as successful as if you choose to focus on 1 or 2.

Set aside time daily to research the techneiques before you go ahead and use them . For example PPC sounds very simple but you can put alot of money into it and still fail if you don't know much about it.

Educating yourself is important and choose your strategies wisely.
I recommend trying 1 or 2 for 6 weeks consistently and see how you get on. If its not working move on but at least you have become experienced, educated, and have a level of expertise on the marketing subject.

Just my 2c hope it helps.

Your plan is great and sales strategies is absolutely right.
    - PPC campaign management as it helps you to have an immediate boost in the targeted traffic.

    - PPC campaign management has greater control over the results as compared to organic SEO.

    Best of Luck!!!

PPC is good, but I think, if you don't know what you doing, it can be a disaster. If you know how to run PPC campaign, that's ok then. Another thing, I would definitely collect first name and email address from the leads. You know the saying: "The money is in the list".

    Best of luck!

How were you promoting these products?

  • i would do what I could to get the ppc visitor's email address and then upsell them to the offer

ppc is too expensive to see someone and then they leave 1 minute later and you never see them again.

Looks like a good plan. Unless you know what you are doing with
PPC it can get expensive. You can also look at Facebook ads. You can target your ads to specific demographics.
