1SC Amember Plug-in question

Hi folks,
I want to set up an affiliate program on my subscription based website, powered by aMember. All payments are currently being processed by aMember. I understand there is a 1shoppingcart plugin available that helps on the affiliate side. I have read about the limitations of amember's affliliate program on its own, and figure this is why they teamed up with 1SC. However, I am still trying to figure out what 1SC brings to the table.

Will all payments be processed through 1SC if I purchase this, including my existing customers? Is it just a one time fee for the plug in, or do I have to pay for the 1SC monthly membership as well, even though I already have a processing system in aMember? Which option should I go with, and are there other alternatives? I would like to make sure I do this right the first time around.

    Hey I also use amember for my website and I am eventually gonna try an affiliate program. I can't really help you about your plugin question. I would probably try to use the default amember system and not have to deal with plugins. Open up a support ticket with amember or go to the amember forums they have helped me out alot in the past.

          I basically want to build my software subscribers around affiliate marketing. Currently all my subscribers are in amember, just need to find a way to make sure my affiliate marketers a) get to sign up easy as affiliates without involvement from me, b) we have accurate reporting, c) make sure the affiliate gets paid the correct amount, d) keep track of all my own customers as well as all the customers signed up through affiliates.

          I guess the main thing I am looking for is to keep things simple. If using the 1shoppingcart plugin for amember is the solution to go with, I am all for it. I know there are many other affiliate solutions out there in regards to payment systems. I would like to keep things around my current amember set up. Just wanted to see if there was a way to avoid having to add to my list of 3rd party people I have to pay, since amember does apparently have their own standalone affiliate marketing setup as well.

          Any further advice on this would be greatly appreciated.

            How much does 1ShoppingCart payment plugin cost?

            We do not charge for payment processor integration plugins, the plugin is included into aMember Pro release for no fee. Please consult with 1ShoppingCart about their charges.

            Hope that answers that, at least part of it.

            Also I'm pretty sure all the current subscriptions going through aMemeber, stay with aMemeber. You can't export payment processes once they've already started.

            ****I used to manage a site that used aMember for everything for over a year. So I became fairly familiar with it.
