Signed up with CJ.com: Am I allowed to click on my own affiliatelink?

I always click on my own affiliatelinks just to make sure they work and just to see where they lead me to...

I know that's not a big deal with CB. But I don't if you're allowed to do that with CJ? They are more strict. Can I get in trouble for doing so? :confused:

    If you do once, it probably will not be a problem. Just don't do it everytime.

        Hey! Ik deed het blij peerfly ook weleens. Heb het toen aan de affliate manager gevraagd en die zeiden dat je het zeker niet te vaak moet doen. Af en toe "per ongeluk" aanklikken mag dus wel .

                Peerfly is CPA idd, erg aan te raden als je op de engelse markt richt, ze hebben ook echte producten die je kan promoten (die $60) op kunnen leveren. Maar ik vind de simpele offers veel makkelijkere om te promoten.

        You should follow your link to make sure it is working correctly.

        This is not Adsense where you get paid to click. This is CJ where a transaction cannot happen until a purchase is made.

        As far as clicking your link, there is no problem.

        As far as buying your own product, I am not sure...

          Well at peerfly they think different about this, I asked the affiliate manager about this same issue, and they said otherwise. But I think they don't look very strict because before I asked I've clicked dozens of times on the link.

    yeah if its the standard cj affiliate program not the beta which is payper click. The pay per action is no problem you dont get paid for any clicks so they wont care. You only get paid when someone buys the item and you earn a commission from it. Only time anyone cares if they are ppc , even then most of the time your ip will be banned from getting credits on their program.

    Ja idd, maar het wordt ooit nog wel wat populairder neem ik aan. Die nederlandse cpa programs zijn flut. ten eerste betalen ze weinig en ten tweede bieden ze niks aan voor de niche waarop ik focus

    I've never been in trouble for clicking on my CJ links in three or four years I have been with them, and I do click on them after I install them always to make sure I have the correct landing page for the offer I want to promote.
