Without looking at your backlinking strategy, or anything. I'm curious as to what this site is supposed to be offering? It's just a product description, and a buy sign. There is no original content.

Are you getting a lot of traffic to your site?

Are the keywords you are going after being searched for?

One thing i noticed is that you are not using in context links. Using them will help you get more of your visitors over to Amazon.

I hate to do this to you but do your self a favor and read this thread: http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...ing-money.html

Pay particular attention to the tips given by PaulaC and Sojourne. Both are very informative in that thread and give priceless tips.

Taking a quick glance, I do notice you do not have many text links to the product. Something you may want to start with.

Keep us posted as I am currently picking at a few sites my self.

    Moshe:

You don't have a site....all you have is one giant ad.

Remake the site, and focus it on an actual subject (like stunt cycling for example), and it might do better.

Want to see this done right? This site is the front end for a company that sells mouse pads:

[H]ard|OCP - HardOCP Computer Hardware Reviews and News

Take notes on what he's doing, and do similar.

I have found it very hard to convert with Amazon. I'm not sure why, but I have much better luck with Commission Junction. I think it's something about the spammy look of an amazon product review site. People click a link and when get they to amazon, they are like "wtf, dirty spammer."

Are you writing reviews of the bikes and directing them to your page? This looks like just a store page.

you might want to experiment with the prices, sometimes it puts ppl off - you might want to remove them, then test... object is to get them to click the link... i would remove that buy from amazon button and replace it with a text link of some kind that has a call to action...

once they have clicked the link, they're cookied. so if they find a bike that you dont have on your site, you should get credited for it

    p.s
how much spam mail do you get having your email viewable for all ppl to see?

It can be tough. Years ago I made between $100 and $200 per month, but in the past few, I'm lucky to do $20. Not that I represent everyone, but it just doesn't seem to work out as well as it used to for my sites.

Nothing on the About, Contact, or Disclosure Policy pages . . . the site's not likely to be taken seriously. I wouldn't do business on such a site.

You need to write good quality reviews for it and not the usual stuff like the product description. Writing reviews for products make you stand out from the crowd as people who are looking at your site will not feel the sales pitch. It helps people make the decision whether to buy or not.

    Hope this helps.

I think it's because most people would choose to buy directly on Amazon rather than some affiliate link.

I looked at your links and it looks like some double encoding is going on. I examined the cookies and I'm not seeing your affiliate ID being applied.

Re-examine the links with which you're sending your prospects to Amazon. You might find something is wrong with the links.

Another thing I noticed was that people need to search for the "Buy Now" button.

Your call to action needs to come earlier.

your site do not have the amazon feel.. any amazon logo banner or anything. people should see the amazon thing so they are enticed to click the link. simply having text links to amazon products convert very less in my opinion.

as phobe told, people need to search the buy now buttons. it should not be in this way. they should immediately transferred to amazon site once they come to your site. so even they do not by the bike reviewed in your blog, chances high that they buy something from amazon or at least in the next 24 hrs for which YOU will get the sale credit.. so plan to pass them immediately to amazon.com from your link, let them spend time there and NOT in your site.
    my opinion..
    thanks

I just read your article and....

"24″ Alienation rims, cro-mo frame, fork, and 3-piece cranks, cassette rear hub, 36/14 gearing, and Tektro brakes make this the bike you’l want to put your money on for performance, quality, and value.Hoping to get lucky? Turn to the Diamondback Lucky 24 BMX bike, which provides the same tried-and-true trail/street design and experience as the Mr. Lucky, but offers 4 additional inches of wheel diameter and another 1/2 inch of room in the front. The 24-inch cruiser is equipped with such features as a full chromoly frame and fork, an FSA 1-1/8-inch threadless headset, a Tektro 907 U-brake, tubular chromoly three-piece cranks, DB Sound alloy platform pedals with replaceable traction pins, and Alienation Black Sheep alloy rims. The features add up to an ideal bike for riding both serious trails and casual street paths. The 24-inch cruiser is the preferred size for larger riders who want to enjoy BMX in the present, rather than looking back fondly on riding BMX as a kid."

What with this crap... even monkey won't buy....

    Here's why:
    - Your site is made not for human.
Solution: Fix your articles. Make it readable. Put benefit that I will get if I buy that bicycle. I don't care about "Geometry: 73-degree head tube, 71-degree seat tube, 21.25-inch top tube, and 15.5-inch chain stay " What I care about is how this bicycle affect my life if I buy it....

And many other reason... your site looks good though. Just your articles that suck.

You've got the word "cheap" everywhere. People who BMX although may be frugal, the word "Cheap" does not convert. You can show the ways in which you save, but you can't come out and be like "we are cheap" because "cheap" is a synonym of "poor value."

You have an eCommerce site pushed into a blog layout. People say it works, but I do not agree and all of my eCommerce experience has told me that if you want to sell people stuff, have an eCommerce website, not a blog format.

Expensive things in which people are more likely to purchase in person is so so so much less likely to be purchased online. This does not mean it is never sold online, it just means your rate of conversion is going to be much lower than someone selling something for $14.99 - I used to sell bedding and I focused my site on selling bed in a bad sets for $200 but you know what was my most profitable? Pillow cases. Why? Because they were cheaper and people bought more of them.

Your website is impersonal and people do not trust that kind of sites. You should add some personality and good reviews in order to convert visitors to buyers.

For example, your about page is default page by Wordpress, you do not have contact form there.

What hits me first on your site is "Too Much Going On!"
I would reduce the size of the header and tighten up or remove the right sidebar. The site just yells "SELLING" instead of helpful information.

It is great that you have an image at the top, but it is just sitting there flashing and right beneath that is an ad for a chain. The image is big and "in your face", but what value does it bring on its own?

If this is supposed to be a review site, remember that a good review site does not just list the features. Anyone searching for the words "Cheap BMX" probably already knows that features. This is a "buying keyword", so the person wants to know who can lead him to the best price. You will want to show that you have researched other places and found them much more expensive than ... whatever place you are recommending.

Traffic Travis shows "Cheap BMX", which I assume is your main KW to be of Medium Difficulty. It also shows Google competition to be 1.5 million and Yahoo competition to be 5.1 million, so you have your work cut out for you here. Traffic Travis is free.

Also, I would highly recommend to you that you find Matt Carter on this forum and send him a PM. Ask him for his video series on Affiliate Marketing with physical products. You will see his sites and understand why yours is not converting. You can also find him at mattsmarketingblog.com. He's an Aussie and he really knows what he is doing. The series he gives away for free is outstanding!

      Best of luck!
