Where To Post Freebie?

I have a small package I would like to give out for free, but would like to know where I should post it. It's graphics related and thought of putting in the Web Sites section, but then I thought not everyone who uses Photoshop or people who may be interested in it don't always go in the Web Sites section. I was thinking of putting it here, but have seen that it's not allowed. I've seen it been said to post freebies in the War Room, but I would really like all Warriors to have access to it. Hence my question.

I'm not a fan of paying $40 just to give something away. Besides, if I did, it would disappear of page 1 and 2 very quickly as I don't anticipate it to be hugely popular. So it would be a waste of time. I just want to simply give something out for free, no strings attached.

Simple, just have your signature link to a website of yours where you give away this freebie.

You aren't allowed to post it here, but allowed to put your download link on signature.

    Then....

Create thread that flow from start to end. Create catchy title, write good post, it must be related on what you want to offer as a freebie.

Create signature that goes like this: "P.S. If you want to download freebie that I mention earlier, you can download it right here. [download link]"

And I think that solve your problem.

I'm not responsible if you got problem after implementing it though. I don't really sure if it is allowed or not.

Haha... but seriously... I don't know if this allowed or not. If this weren't on rules section, perhaps I will create WSO about this loophole.

See, the thing is it is not a product! I just want to give out a gradient pack that I put together so other people who use Photoshop or may want to learn it at a later date have a custom made set of gradients that they can use absolutely FREE. There is no restrictions on what can be done with them. I just want to offer them to everyone else without you thinking I am trying to get something out of it.

This is one thing that really @#&* me to tears. Why the hell does everyone automatically think that when someone wants to be nice an offer something for free, that there is some other motive involved. It really sickens me!

Why not put it in your sig as suggested by others and forget about what any other person thinks?
I'm aware that this is an IM forum. IMers use Photoshop to create their own graphics for sales pages, ecovers, newsletters, etc. I could quite easily charge a few bucks on a graphics forum/site, but want to give them out for free to my fellow Warriors. It's a simple thing to ask and I hate that there are so many hoops we have to jump through to complete a simple task.

That seems it may be my only option. But I was hoping to have it available for all members.
