warriors! help please - on backlinks.

Hey warriors,

I have a simple question.

I have a blog set up on blogger.

My blog URL - myblog.blogspot.com is not indexed.. but:
my pages - myblog.blogspot.com/mymoneypage.html for example are indexed

My question is: when I build a backlink - do I put my blog URL that is not indexed or do I put my money page's URL which is indexed? Both the URLs lead to my money page but only the page itself is backlinked. I don't want to waste my time backlinking if it will have no effect.

My gut tells me to put the money page URL and not the blog URL. Am I right?

    You want to build backlinks to both pages eventually. Your .com site will get indexed soon, so if you don't build backlinks to that page, you will hurt yourself in the long run.

        I actually just checked again and my main site was indexed! haha. that solves everything. I was seriously worried about that.

    I agree with the above to statements.

    You always want to build backlinks to your money site first; then time, energy and any resources that you have available (free or paid) start building backlinks to your inner pages/blogs, however...keep building backlinks to your money page at the same time.

    As a general rule this is what I personally do with all of my sites/blogs.

    1. Get domain indexed with Digg/Feedage Submits.
    2. Build links to homepage.
    3. Build links to inner pages starting with the biggest/best keyword.

    Blogger blogs are kind of notorious for taking forever and day to index. The more links you build the faster things will happen for you.

    Most aritcle sites allow you to leave two links. So leave both!

    It's a plus to link to the page most relevant to the linking page content in articles, or when placing blog comments, social bookmarks. Some links like directory listings probably make more sense going to the home page, mixing it up helps avoid being identified as artificial links.
