I Have My Articles....Now What!?

I found a good niche that i'm very excited about. I have an exact match domain for a keyword that gets 75,000 exact searches a month and not very much competition (one competitor in 6th place in google has about 350 backlinks according to yahoo site explorer).

I just outsourced 10 articles and will use The Best Spinner to spin them. I've created a wordpress site that I will put the articles on and will eventually (once my site ranks) sell a physical product.

My questions are: should I just focus on one keyword or several for the 10 articles?

Should I put all 10 articles on my website at once or drip them? Does it matter?

How many articles should I create using the spinner? Spin each article 10, 20, 30 times? How many times do you spin the same article?

I plan on using a link wheel - use 2 links in each article, one linking to my site and the other link pointing to another article. This seems to be what most people suggest. Any advice?

Thank you guys so much!

First of all, nice work on getting started! That's the hardest part for some people.

What you want to do is start by posting your 10 original articles (unspun) on your own site. Then rewrite them (don't spin) and post each to top 10 article directories like ezinearticles.com, articlebase.com, etc. They really like fresh articles and will reject the spun ones (they can tell)

Use your main keyword naturally throughout your articles on your site and whenever you backlink from the article directories, use the main keyword as the anchor text.

Thank you for your advice! Just to clarify: rewrite each article 10x's and then submit each article (a different version of each article) to the top 10 article sites. So the end result will be 100 articles and 100 backlinks, correct?

You should be able to take advantage of two links per resource box, one to your homepage and one to a deep page. Vary the keywords you anchor.

You should spend some of that time writing guest posts for blogs in your niche. Check with their owners to see if they are looking for one. A link from a blog with your keywords in its title is worth more than gold.

      No complete waste of time.

DO NOT rewrite your articles for article directories!

You don't need to. EZA doesnt care.

The time you spend rewriting articles could be spent writing new ones.

So you're saying that the articles I post (that are original and unique) to my website are the same articles I can post to ezinearticles.com and others, without changing anything?

Correct! Well I know you can with the main ones EZA, Go Articles and Articlebase.

Not saying you can with all article dirs but most yes.

  • Drip them for two weeks. Create alternate versions and place those on ezine or wherever you prefer. Link back to particular pages on your site.

Get an email list and start grabbing leads.

That's a good start, see how many leads/hits you can get early on.

Should I just focus on my main keyword or focus on several? I.E. if my main keyword is 'dog bed' would I also want to focus on 'dog beds', 'dog cushions', 'dog cushion', etc.?
