How do you value PLR products?

I was able to get my hands on a product which really helped me and I considered selling to my list (I have resell rights). However, I've found people selling the product on ebook/plr sites for peanuts where as I was looking to sell it for over $40 (That's at least how much I would pay for it).

But should I sell it for a massively reduced price i.e. $5-$10 because it is so easily available if you just google search the product name?

Or should I just increase the price of one of my other products and include it as a bonus instead of an upsell?

    I'll use it to build an opportunity, not after money....

    Example, I'll repurpose it, make it in another format, offer it for free or for low price.

    Then, I'll setup name capture buyers. I build my list, I got responsive list. I build relationship (by giving them information in my email), and I offer them my next product.

    Those list is for you, forever. You create opportunity, the money will follow.

      Probably the best and simplest thing to do is to spend a few extra dollars, get new graphics, write new sales copy. Spend a little time rewriting the product itself and you have a whole new product.

    Rewrite the ebook & put in a personal touch. Research on the topic & insert more info into the ebook & you can mark up the price.

    I very rarely use plr stuff to actually make money. I give it away either as bonuses or for an opt in.
