Hi guys,

I just picked up a domain I'd potentially like to develop. (More as a hobby) It's ActingJournal.com. I just want to see what you guys think of the name and its value?'

Thanks

Just wondering if you actually did a keyword research before you bought it (that's the correct order of this process)...? anyway, the good news is that this one can get a bit viral, I'd recommend a membership site for this one...

        Thanks
I did not do a keyword analysis before buying this domain. I actually snatched it on the drop. A few weeks ago I started an acting site because acting is one of my passions, and since then I have been looking for some good acting domains. Mainly because I use to be heavy into domain names c. 2005-2007.

Thanks guys! I was thinking along the same lines too. A week or so ago I started an acting site which is in the works atm. (Won't be able to develop fully for 3 weeks. I'm starting acting school and have a big audition late Jan. Also moving to NYC.)

I was thinking with my other site to interview reputable people in the industry --starting smaller then working up to the big fish and do a monthly membership subscription, and potentially write an auditioning guide. It's mainly idea right now.

Aside from product dev and content, I think the main priority would be traffic and leads (List) and try to elicit the list to interact and participate. It's a theory I have, but I think if I can get the list to be responsive to questions, surveys, input, etc... in the beginning when there is no product, I will have a list that could convert very very well. The how is the hard part.
