Short Newbie Guide To Using The Warrior Forum

This post is for all those newbies many of which are lost and confused or just post unrelated stuff in the main forum. This guide is meant to help and not put down the newbies in any way. Newbies are great, just sometimes need a little point in the right direction.

Before you make any post, always search the forums using the search form located here: WarriorForum - Internet Marketing Forums Always search to see if a related topic of thread was already discussed, you may find that your question has already been answered.

Next if you can not find what you are looking for then get familiar with the warrior forum see what forums actually exist. You will be surprised at how many different forums exist for specific topics.

- If you want to find the next best wordpress theme then search the forums first. Then go to the proper forum and post your question, in this case you should go to the WarriorForum - Internet Marketing Forums forum. Why the designers forum ? Well simple because designers will have more knowledge about themes and may be able to create a custom theme for you or point you in the right direction.

- If you want to find out about a product or server then again search the forums and if you find nothing then ask the question in the proper forum as as WarriorForum - Internet Marketing Forums

- If you want to find out about doing link swaps then go to the proper forum for that and post your questions WarriorForum - Internet Marketing Forums

Posting in the proper forums helps keep the main forum clean of clutter and would also help you get the best answer to your questions when posting in the proper forum.

View the main forum now and see all the forums that are there, study them and before posting ask yourself "where is the best place to post this question" WarriorForum - Internet Marketing Forums

=====================

When posting your questions please be specific as possible and explain in detail what you are wanting or needed help with.

Also make sure you post proper titles that go along with your post. To learn more about posting proper titles read Jared's thread here: http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...ead-title.html

Never make any post just to blatant advertise your site or an affiliate site. Self promotion is not allowed on the forums so please make sure you follow this rule to help keep our forums clean.

======================

Search, Learn, and Grow.. Pay close attention to threads that are helpful to others. These threads are created to help everyone and when you have something you would like to share then please do so. If you don't understand something that is posted then do not be afraid to ask additional questions.

Always make sure you are polite in your post and use the "THANKS" button when you like a post made by another warrior.

If you need help with a forum problem itself then please use the Help Desk: Warrior Forum Helpdesk

Added Addition: This comes from Big Mike (this is based off the old forum but as Big Mike posted it is still very helpful) - The Warrior Manifesto | The Warrior Manifesto is a "Must Read" FREE report for anyone just starting their own online business

Added Addition: This comes from Ebbi, a very detailed post giving you direct links to many of the useful places on the forum - http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...wbie-read.html

Updated: Note to Newbies Before You Ask - CashGifting is Illegal no matter what anyone tells you. Do not bother posting a thread asking about it.

Now go have fun...

      Is bumping our own threads at our own discretion suddenly OK???

      Why not contact Allen and request it be made sticky? Let him decide if it is worthy of staying atop the thread list.

          It is your thread. You started it. Lots of threads drop to page 3 and lower.

          If Allen thinks it's worth a sticky, he'll do it.

          I don't have anything against this thread. But if we allow one person to bump their thread because they deem it worthy, then everyone will do it. And not everyone has a keen sense of worthiness.

          And I'm pretty sure Allen made it explicitly known that he doesn't appreciate self bumping in the past.

        Martin,
        This was posted during a time when a alot of threads was created asking the same things over and over, non-related threads being posted, spamming threads being posted, and etc...

    The Warrior forum is fast becoming a clutter of junk because of the newbies posting without searching.

    This would definitely help in keeping the Warrior forum the best in teh world

    Thanks for the tips. I'm looking for topics that may seem very rudimentary to other Warriors and get confused as to what I am reading a lot of the time. But, its fun and I appreciate the patience shown from others. There is so much out there, and I only want to reseach a copy of venues at this time, so as not to get overwhelmed. But I need to learn the site first and how it operates. This helps! Thanks.
