    Create a yt channel.

    Upload your video.

Log into your channel and select My Videos.

Click on the 'embed' link by your video then copy the code to your html page.

Youtube is free, supports HD, and is great for me. Problem is the time limit is 15 mins. Also, I have trouble uploading large files to their server. It will get stuck when processing.

The 15 minute limit has been lifted as of last month or at least on my account anyway.

I'll be 100% honest. YouTube is not the best source for hosting a video on your sales page, and here is why... You may be giving your reader an easy "EXIT" to not buy your product by double clicking on your video and taking them to YouTube Pages.

YouTube is very popular and you might create a distraction for that person with the "YouTube" logo, reminding them of their favorite TV show they forgot to watch, or music they're in the mood for, or something unrelated to the focus of BUYING YOUR PRODUCT.

So what did I do about my problem?
I bought my account ($25/month) from sproutvideo. To be honest, they are pretty expensive but overall, you don't get anything bothering your customer, the skin goes away, the embed feature is easy, you get to choose the quality of video, and no worries about your traffic clicking off your sales page into a page where they're going to feel more comfortable without your product.

There is other solutions like Amazon Cloud but that may need to learning before trying it out.
Find a reliable video hosting site, where people can't CLICK to EXIT off your page from the video.

There is much more reasons to why I don't use YouTube on Sales Pages but I rather not bore people

    That's my 2 cents...

I disagree with this. YouTube is a trusted brand, people more comfortable watching an embedded video from there, as opposed to some unknown video site/player.

YouTube videos are easy to share, generate leads and best of all, hosting is free.

I recommend you use Amazon S3 instead.

YouTube will literally steal your traffic because once a person clicks away from your site to youtube (that happens if they click on the video) it isn't hard to lose them. Many times people click any of the related videos in the sidebar and they are gone.

Now, that's not a problem with free public videos but that is a problem when you are using YouTube on your salesletter or for paid content.

Amazon S3 is cheap as hell (pennies for gigs of transfer) and they are the most professional and reliable service I have ever seen.
