A Question for you Flippers - Flippas out there...
Ok - I recently sold a website on flippa for a decent amount. I've sold several sites on there for over $5k - and my own personal rule is to use only escrow if the amount is over $5k. So on this recent sale I'm using escrow.
My question is, it has been a week since the auction has finished, and the buyer's money has not shown up in escrow yet. So how long should I wait for this money, before I move on? I have another buyer w/ money in hand, but I don't want to sell it to him and underhand a deal made on flippa.
In the past I've never had to wait more than a day for a buyer to make payment. And I can't find anywhere on flippa where a time limit is covered. I'm trying to be polite w/ the original buyer, but it's frustrating that a buyer would bid on a site without having funds available first. Every time I ask buyer about the funds, he increases the wait time by a day or 2.
What would you do?
