Radio buttons in emails

2 replies
Is there a way to put radio buttons in emails?

For instance, in the email you ask are you looking
to buy or sell?

and they select one or the other and click submit and
it tracks the email address that submitted it?

Does anyone know of anything like this?
#buttons #emails #radio

    I wouldn't recommend it. Not everyone has HTML email. Like me for example, I have ASCII email.

    Why do you feel like you need radio buttons for 2 options? That seems like a usability issue. On top of that, they are unlikely to work with a LOT of people's email.

    Here is what I would do:

    Just put 2 links (e.g. Click here if you want to buy). You should then be able to insert a variable into the link using any email system. So you link would look like this in aweber (not sure about other systems): http://mysite.com/buy.php?email={!email}

    Then on the buy.php page, you just pull the email variable from the URL.
